Bing Maps needs update, NOW!

I thought iPhones used Google Maps?

Or rather, I guess what’s really going on is Apple maps stinks and Google maps is the preferred program according to the internet… All of my Apple friends use Waze mostly (Google) (some use Google Maps).

I’ve never owned an iPhone, so I can only go by what I hear and read.

Whether or not Apple Maps is more up to date than Bing still doesn’t change the equation… Microsoft has zero inroads into hand held consumer GIS, hence they’re investing in other ways to make money with their GIS tools. And I’m sorry, I don’t have any further insight into what tools they are selling and who uses their data for what. I do agree that MSFS is one of their “flagship” marketing tools for a number of their products. I’m pretty sure, however, that those buyers they are really courting could not care less about the accuracy of Bing Maps data.

I have no understanding why their priorities astonishing to you? Are your needs more important than they know?
