I understand the sentiment - I live near a pretty large former industrial area which got torn down and replaced with new apartment buildings, which have been there since a couple of years before I actually moved here in 2018. One of my first flights in MSFS (two months ago) was taking the Skyhawk from the nearby airport to my house, and in MSFS the entire area is basically one big construction site.
We’re still blessed that we can actually recognize our neighborhood in low-and-slow flight in MSFS - that sure wasn’t the case in FSX. (And I did actually recognize the house I live in so that’s nice.)
