Black screen: I'm desperate!

Hi friends…

I have the deluxe version through steam, I use virtual reality through wmr with the hp g2 hmd, everything was going very well until today I went to run the game, I have downloaded a 300mb update from steam and since then no It has started me again.

When I launch the fs 2020 from steam or from the desktop icon, the screen remains black with the blue circle and from there it does not happen.

I have checked the integrity of steam files, I have changed the audio player from the usb of the hp g2 to the hdmi of the monitor, I have uninstalled the game from steam.

I get a message that steam has uninstalled the game and yet there are still 150gb in user / appadata / roaming / mfs, this is incredible !!!.

I have deleted the folder manually, I have turned off and on the pc, I have gotten into steam, I have selected to install the mfs 2020 again, it performs an installation of a few gigs (4 GB approx), the play button is activated in green and when I press it, the ■■■■ screen turns black with the circle in blue.

I have updated windows 10, I have updated the nvidia driver.
I have emptied the community folder

I am desperate friends !!!

Can someone please help me ???

Hi, so I had an almost similar problem
Check that the games and the updates install well at the same place…
For me I had this problem on the game update screen, i had not checked where the update is installed "My games are on an SSD not on C: "
But the games wanted to install the updates on C: \
I had to put the correct path of the games for the update… Check it may be :thinking:

Thank you very much for answering my friend, I have a single 1 TB internal ssd hard drive, I have not made any kind of change to another hard drive, I only have a single 1 TB internal ssd.

Yeah that’s weird … and you have to reinstall all games -update? how many GB in all?

friend I have completely uninstalled the fs 2020 from steam and from steam I wanted to reinstall it, it download 4 gb and when I give it to run I get a black screen

Ok ok I understand my friend,
I don’t really know how to do it (me I’m under MsStore) I think there was a bug with the path seen that steam told you that games were uninstalled but it was still present in the folder and as you deleted it yourself it could be uninstalled before … otherwise ask directly to MSFS via → https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us Good luck man :smirk:
