With the 10-29-31 Patch, I had CTD’s for the first time.. With the Hotfix on 10-31-20, I get a Black screen. I can see in Task Manager the Sim runs for a bit, downloads something, and then shuts down.
I’m angry with myself that I spent all this money on a high performance new build to run the Sim and the money I spent on the Sim. The only smart decision I made was not to buy any extras.
No, I will not waste my time sending anything to Zendesk. All I ever got was stuff I already tried and instructions on how to check the forums for answers.
I will not reinstall the Sim. The first install took 3 weeks and will not do that again.
I’ve spent so much time in this forum compared to the amount I spend in the Sim. I came to realize my time would be better spent making more Ortho’s for the other Sim. At least in that Sim I see hangers at the local AP instead of white rectangle Blotches where hangers should be. In my area, even the interstates, cars run on grass. The other sim, I see roads.
I’ll start up the Sim again in December and see if it runs. If not, try again in January.
