Hahaha don’t worry, there’s zero chance it’s me, I’m not as hardworking and even less of an expert in programming or aviation. ![]()
I just take care when it come to set application or web page alerts ![]()
I am so curious how it will deal with icing. One of the most important (yet forgotten in MSFS) dangers of aviation, and I’d love it to be super realistic in the Duke. I think for now only A2A does icing well.
Please tell me all these amazing features will not hit my FPS too much in my older system.
will this comde out on xbox?
here is a statement made few days ago
Hope this help, it’s copy/paste from Just Flight Duke-forum:
I don’t usually publish any system requirements, but the Dukes should run very comparably to other Black Square aircraft, which are noticeably less taxing than almost any commercial airliner.
The only caveat with the Dukes is the tablet interface. Some screens are more intensive than others. The options, failures, and electrical screens have almost zero impact on performance. The environmental controls page may reduce FPS by ~1%, and the engine pages around 3-5%. For example, if you’re running the simulator at 50 fps, in the worst case scenario, your fps will drop to 47 fps, only with the tablet open to the engine page.
Note: Any performance impact from the tablet is only when it is open!
I have also learned a lot recently about controlling the performance impact from drawing the tablet, so I suspect this performance impact will be reduced over time as I make some improvements.
I like this kind of transparency
So when is the release date?
I have recently got the Analog mod for the Kingair and very little of the bindings on my Alphas and Bravo work.
Really enjoying flying the Kingair though.

We’ll bring more news about the release date later this week. Thank you
here is the plan for the release, I cross my finger to don’t see it postponed
note: (w/c : week commencing)
edit :
I’ve been curious about pricing for these and while this obviously isn’t official, Just Flight seem to be fairly consistent in how they give out Rewards Points for purchases. The ratio seems to be between $0.3-0.31 per reward point earned, see examples below.
BlackSquare TBM 830: $41.99, 136 Rewards Points. 42/136=0.308
King Air Overhaul (Sale price): $27.29, 90 Rewards Points. 27.29/90=0.303
BaE 146 (Sale price): $52.49, 173 Rewards Points. 52.49/173=0.303
Fokker F28 (Sale price): $52.49, 173 Rewards Points. 52.49/173=0.303
Avro Vulcan: $32.99, 106 Reward Points. 33/106=0.311
Turbo Arrow III & IV (Sale price): $23, 76 Reward Points. 23/76=0.302
The Duke preview pages don’t have pricing yet, but they do both say you’ll earn 156 Rewards Points, so doing math gives us $47-48 depending on which number you use. Take that with a brick of salt of course, but it seems to give us a ballpark for their intended single-module pricing might be.
I’m loving your detective work on this.
Kind of makes sense as this will be more than just a panel/ systems improvement compared with previous Blacksquare products.
However it then puts it in to A2A territory and I’m currently on the fence with which one to get next. That might swing it towards A2A for me.
Very good thinking here even if you are wrong ![]()
Is A2A going to release a new plane soon or you are talking about the Comanche?
I really hope that the Blacksquare Duke will have persistent cockpit switchs and knobs save state or at the very least, a cold and dark starting option. There is a lot of runway without parking that force the plane to be engine on… For a plane that complex and rich of amazing details, I really hope the dev have chose to implement this feature. For me, it’s what will balance on my decision for an instant buy or waiting for the next A2A plane.
Comanche. I’m a year late. Normally the sort of aircraft that’s a bit too slow for me which is why I’m interested in the Duke.
But Baracus said if I don’t get it he’ll have me kicked off the forums 🫨
I knew he was an undercover mod. I just knew it… ![]()
