As a workarround, if you have installed the GTN750, you can run it’s toolbar panel version, go to the flight plan page and select import button in the contextual menu. Then choose “import from ATC”. THis should load the ATC (world map) flight plan into both the GTN750 and the GNS530.
Maybe this helps.
I recall I read about it earlier, so I looked it up for you.
Logitech stuff is low quality. Those that say it’s just fine because they’ve used it for a while just haven’t experienced better. Once you do you won’t go back.
Yes indeed. I have a Logitech Multi Switch Panel, and just today had my second rocker switch failure (Beacon light, previously was Pitot Heat). I have StreamDecks and can easily starting migrating stuff there, however.
Just ordered Turtle Beach pedals.
Anyone else having issues with the autopilot? As soon as I engage it it will disengage.
Mis mapped? Maybe ? What AP?
Is your pitch trim switch in the correct position? Needs to be on for AP to work (in cold dark state it is set to off).
Works in other aircraft just fine. It’s the Century IV.
Am I missing the ON - OFF switch as shown above?
EDIT: Ok so I can get it to work if I start airborne but not from the ramp.
Appreciate it!
Hi guys, which airline ICAO do you use when flying the Duke with simbrief?
Aircraft ICAO?
BE60 - Duke / Grand Duke
B60T - Turbine Duke
EDIT: I see what you mean now. Just leave it blank and put the aircraft registration into Flight Number.
Thank you! ![]()
Wishlist item for a future update: have the fuel selectors be in the Off position when starting Cold & Dark, unless it’s customary to leave the main tanks selected for shut down and parking in the Duke. I don’t know. ![]()
Am I correct in assuming the KLN 90B doesn’t have the capability to load precision approaches (such as an ILS)? I’m looking at the pilot guide and it only mentions non-precision approaches.
In common with a lot of AC in the sim the first thing I always do before a flight is to hide the yokes by manual clicking. Does anyone know if there is a setting anywhere in the Dukes .cfg files to hide the yokes by default as a kind of QOL thing? Hardly a deal breaker (obviously) but a default (.cfg) setting would be handy if anyone knows of one.
@Jigsaw407 Yeah and the props should be feathered, because feathering them is part of the shutdown list, but when you come back they are full ![]()
@Kayembee370 Always popping some breaker by mistake when trying to hide the co-pilot yoke ![]()
I am having the same issue with the flight plan not loading in the GNS 530. I modified the code, as suggested above, and it did not help. @ScorpionFilm422’s work-around to load from file with the GTN750 works great, though.
I use Spad.Next for all my planes, and among other things I’ve already programmed a button to hide yokes and remove the yoke/throttle locks. That said, I don’t think there’s an easy way to do this outside of third-party control mappers such as Spad.Next, Axis and Ohs, FSUIPC, etc.
