Agreed, but perhaps it would be good to know if that was planned for a later update, that’s why I asked about the other aircraft.
In the mean time Ken Zaldo did this a couple of years ago and works pretty good.
Thanks, will check that out.
Oh thats interesting. I am a nerd and I like to fly where I left off, with the gas I had before and the AC in the same state. Right now I take a picture of the fuel pop out to set it the same again. This is better.
In an “ideal” State_Saved_World, every state, and every Switch & Knob Position would also be saved, including all fluid levels, battery state etc etc
Can be done - has been done - the level has already been set.
Hope we get there.
The EDM 800 simulation is exceptionally well done.
There is a new, BlackSquare Bonanza, online Spad profile for the Logitech panels… works great…
All Blacksquare analoge overhauls only have „selective“ state saving like the bonanza.
It would be nice if the ADF frequencies could be saved.
Yes Spad is next level, I have been playing around with it and have started setting up specific settings for specific aircraft which is amazing!!!
See my post 8 up
Many seem to think incorrectly that a weather radar shows Clouds. ( as it did earlier on in FS - but has now been corrected)
Not so – They show Precipitation.
Can weather radar detect clouds?
In addition, precipitation particles are big enough to reflect microwaves, whereas cloud particles aren’t. Hence, weather radars can detect precipitation but can’t see clouds at all. (This makes weather-radar maps excellent complements to weather-satellite images, which can show cloud tops but not precipitation.)
Flew this for the first time on a rare Saturday afternoon stream. Put it to the test by shooting the LOC/DME-BC B into Yakima. Extremely well done panel, was an absolute blast to fly and will be in my top choices for a GA cruiser.
This plane is fantastic but I think it could really use some more sounds for stuff like the prop feather when doing a runup check, more wind and propeller noise when the storm window is open, sputtering when there’s insufficient fuel flow, etc.
Yes, they are just using stock sounds. It would be awesome if someone would do a soundpack… perhaps the guy that did the 172… I will add a couple more issues. Excessive nose dive on braking, and brutal turning radius… anyone know what to edit in the CFG?
There are 31 sound files in the plane’s folder. They mostly seem to be new sounds, for systems that aren’t in the default plane.
Those would be nice additions, agreed…the prop sound at coarse pitch in particular. The “fwooosh” sound when you pull the prop lever back during your run-up
. You could write Just Flight a support ticket with your suggestions to ensure they make it to the developer. It’s tricky to tinker with the sounds of a default aircraft (or any add-on with a Wwise sound system) because you can break a lot of the existing sounds by modifying the events used.
The sounds of the default Asobo piston aircraft are mostly pretty good (minus some of the things you mentioned)…better than the default turbine aircraft. I actually love the sound of the default Bonanza in particular. One of the best of the bunch, IMO. I’ve flown IRL quite a bit in Cirrus and Mooneys with 6-cyl Continentals and the MSFS Bonanza sounds right for this class of engine.
Yeah the sounds of the engine itself are pretty good, but it’s clear that the rest just wasn’t recorded for a plane of this complexity. They could, instead of messing with the default sounds, just add them in as extras like they already have for stuff like the backfires and turbo
