maybe you are out of scale for the bars, to don’t have issue with LOP and avoid having the bar out of scale, try pre-leaning to just rich-of-peak before pressing the LeanFind button. That should make things easier.
no issue on my side concerning the OAT,
for video suggestion, this one has been a nice help to figure out how work the edm and to see how to lean using it (it s a bit long video, but cover everything concerning the leaning process, engine contraint etc)
IRL the way to do it is to pull the mixture rapidly until the engine gets rough, then back rich until it just smooths out. Then hit the lean find, and find the peak from the lean side. From there, lean as far as you can to get a smooth running engine. Record your FF and ALT, and that will get you in the ballpark every time going forward.
EGT are irrelevant, the temp means nothing, only the change in temp matters.
CHTs should stay below 420 at all times. Ideally you want all CHTs to be close together in cruise, but not sure if any of this is properly modeled in MSFS. ROP cruise should be at least 75* ROP on the lowest cylinder delta. LOP cruise will be the leanest the engine can handle, or whatever gives you the best performance on the lean side. You want to stay out of the +10-+70 ROP side.
Hi,
Yes, most probably.Since i have modified some parts of the css and font file, i’m actually discussing with developper to see how we can integrate these modifications (in product directly or as an independant free mod shared on flightsim.to for example.).
Tonight i finished my modification on Font size ratio for the Bendix-King suite and almost all decals have been modified (GPS 430 /530/750 EDM800 are the last ones to be done …
PS:RMI Needles are not long enough as you can see with the new heading card but developper will modify them so as to match real size of the instrument.Colors Yellow for ADF, Green for VOR are, as you can see, already modified in my mod.On the original textures, colors are inverted.
Having flown the Bonanza quite a bit this week, I am realizing that expecting this level of real engine operation (LOP etc) is probably too much for this add-on. It has been stated that this aircraft runs entirely within stock MSFS, no WASM or external modules. It’s a nice add-on but not comparable to A2A.
well this aircraft is fresh, give some times to Black square dev to find a way to overcome the msfs issues … I remember the C208 had few issues when he was out, 1 month or 2 was necessary for maturing
Weight State saving has major issues due to the way Asobo have coded storing weights, and their weights UI.
NO apparent easy solution, apart from having your own Weights & Balance setup on say a tablet in the plane, and ignoring the weight & Balance setup in Asobo’s UI
Hey everyone, I’m having a hard time trying to get rid of the default tip tank theme that keeps showing up on my default liveries convertion. Do you have any suggestions? I’ve already tried repainting the BONANZA_TIPTANKS_ALBD.PNG.DDS with GIMP, but there’s always the forward part showing up in red.I guess there’s a way to overwrite this maybe in the fallback, or maybe I forgot to repaint a certain part. Any ideas?
edit : alright ! I have found how to make it to doesn’t load a default layer, now I m working on the kenmore, I will edit the link later, to a mod for flightsim.to .
I was just noticing 29hrs on my hobbs. I have been from Phoenix Az to Glacier National Park in Montana. Seattle, San Fran, Salt Lake, Las Vegas, LA, and a few spots in between. All this while the western US was having unprecedented snow storms. This plane and the avionics have preformed superbly!
I’m still working on a SimBrief profile … a work in progress.
Thanks BlackSquare this has really taking me back to FSX.
I’m having a situation where a flight plan entered in the GTN750 unit does not show up in the 430, and vice versa. I see in several demo videos that the flight plan should be mirrored in both units. Do I perhaps have a mod or something that is interfering with this? I’ve removed all of the old WT mods so I don’t see anything obvious.
After 2.5 years of people looking forward to the coming of the A2A messiah it’s just gotten kind of laughable. If I were a developer though I think I’d be a little annoyed at constantly having my products that are actually released compared unfavorably to A2A products that don’t exist.
At this point if A2A’s first release doesn’t cure cancer and bring lasting peace to the Middle East there will be a riot.
I see many videos on YouTube where they are flying with a GTN750 above a 430, program in the flightplan manually on the 750, and it magically transfers over to the 430.
Edit: This was not the video I intended to link. I’ll find the link asap.
