I really cannot wait for a marketplace release of this beauty. I hope it will release soon ![]()
Me too! Iâm excited to finally have a good caravan to go with my Kodiak!
This has quickly become one of my absolute favourite aircraft in the sim. After the update itâs almost perfect and it seems to behave almost exactly like I see on Youtube.
Only thing that prevents it from being perfect is the lack of slipstream during takeoff. According to RL pilots you need a lot of right rudder but in the sim you barely need to touch it.
Anyone know the exact mapping name for the rudder trim? think thatâs the one at the bottom inbetween the pilot and co pilot seats.
Want to try and map it to a button on my stick.
Sim default or SimConnect/LVAR/B-Event?
99% sure itâs simply âRudder Trim Left/Rightâ in the sim settings, nothing custom. Iâm away from sim for a few hours but can check tonight if you havenât figured it out already.
No worries, will take a look some time over the weekend, got a few things I need to map to make it easier.
I disagree, I have to use alot of right rudder for takeoff. I uisually spin the rudder trim right a few turns and it helps quite a bit.
Same here, have to use quite a bootful of right rudder and also have it set so I can trim it easily for takeoff and climbout.
I have their 172 pack, so if that is anything to go by, this will be awesome.
I think this sound pack is for the MSFS Caravan that is included in the sim. The Black Square Caravan Professional already has awsome sounds from Boris.
Yes you are right, I did replay to someone who was looking for an inprofment for the in SIM caravan.
Presumably it could be made to work with it though?
Is there a support page for info on updates to the aircraft, just curious how we find out when an update is released?
Probably the Just Flight forums, here: Caravan Professional | Just Flight Community
Or, if you bought it directly from Just Flight, you can sign up (somewhere) for email updates? I get an email for every update of a JF aircraft that I own.
Thanks
Just noob question, but in the air, if say Iâm banking right, maybe because I have more fuel in right tank, would I trim rudder or aileron?
Same for takeoff.
Aileron trim for weight differences.
Right Rudder trim for turbine take-offs.
Youâre probably aware but you should also shut off the low fuel tank to correct the fuel imbalance in flight.
Thanks, just had a flight and realised aileron was already set on my trim wheel and worked for imbalance with fuel, was just testing things really, I know to switch fuel tanks.
