Also, a fun little story that relates to the Aero Commander design that may or may not be true but I like it:

Allegedly, when asked why he stuck with the high wing design concept, Ted Smith responded with something along the lines of ā€œwell, have you ever seen a low wing bird?ā€.

I always have fond memories of Milton Shupeā€™s Aero Commander 520 in FS2004. It was one of my favorite planes.

Looking forward to the Black Square Aero Commander 685 and 690B, hoping Black Square will do a BAe JS31/41 in the future-a plane PMDG did for FSX, the JS41 but never ever brought to MSFS.

My favorite GA aircraft, flew in it a couple of times back in 1989. Canā€™t wait!

Iā€™m sure it will be great and all, but it doesnā€™t have enough switches for me, was counting on the King Air made from scratch for MSFS2024 that Black Square was discussing in the past.

Oh yes, my uncle used to have a 690 that Iā€™ve been up in several times, and it is a beast! I always hoped Carenado would bring theirs over from the FSX/P3D days, but I know a Black Square one will be even better.

Iā€™ve been waiting since the release of FS2020 for an AeroCommander! I was hoping that C-r-nado would produce one, but HEY!! If BlackSquare is going to do itā€¦. byebye C-r-nado!
