Thanks! I do start it that way with the mouse. It’s the left engine that just won’t turn over.
have you opened a ticket with JF? if you’re expecting a bug fix, I hope someone else has already reported it to JF and they have found a solution. Otherwise, I wouldn’t bet on them discovering it on their own, especially since you are the only one on the forum currently experiencing this issue. I recommend reaching out to them for assistance, as this will likely result in a better resolution 
edit I noticed with SU12 FSUIPC have made an update recently could it be the issue ? are you using it if yes , do you run the last version ?
Saturday Morning SUCESS!!! I finally got it solved! I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it.
It was installing directly into my Community folder instead of into my Community Addons through AddonLinker. I had noticed it sitting in my Community folder and had AddonLinker move it to my Community Addons. It must have corrupted some file. I’ll just leave it in my Community folder for now as this will definitely be my go-to aircraft…WOW! What an amazing upgrade! Thanks everyone for all your amazing help!!
indeed probably you had uninstalled it, but the little (linked shortcut) done by add on linker was remaining in the community
this happend to me once, but I had the aircraft not showing anymore
I guess you can safely move it to your add on folder, just be sure everything are refreshed in add-on linker and on their right location

First flight done. Straight up to FL220, 204GS on the upwind leg and 320GS on the downwind leg. Quite a breezy day here in UK today…
Enjoyable flight certainly, but the rudder axis seems very sensitive indeed. Will have to work on that and cross check any changes made with single engine perf. Sounds were okay and better than I was expecting and it seems Blacksquare have done it again. It is another winner, although I expect a fairly early update which should absolutely nail it. It is a pleasure to flash up the sim when you have aircraft like this waiting.
For external rotary switch to map to mag/start switch I only have the single 5-position on the Alpha. Tried several methods to map one switch to both left and right and finally gave up. Instead used AAO to map the Alpha switch mag positions to both L and R engine switches on Baron so they are always on the same mag setting. For starter function I mapped two extra buttons I have.
In my tests I found - the left engine starter is controllable by 1 on button down and 0 on button up to K:SET_STARTER1_HELD. And the right engine starter is controllable by 1 then 0 to K:STARTER2_SET.
The HELD event works for left engine starter but not right. The SET event works for right but not left.
This is not in the Black Square code that I can see but instead deep in the Asobo templates.
Unfortunately for the right engine, the starter is not held and light goes off too quickly. So I had to add repeats in AAO.
So not pretty but working.
The HELD event works for both engines here.

Is your problem:
1)propeller does not turn when starter is engaged
2)propeller turns but such a brief time that the engine does not catch
3)propeller turns as long as engaged but the engine does not catch
Regards 3, I think the hot start process is required at incorrect low temperature. Try lowering the ambient and then using the cold start. Or use the hot start procedure
Great release and fun to fly. Can’t seem to sync HSI heading bug by single press of knob. Am I missing something.
@BrassyDesert21 press is not a coded event for the heading bug knob, only turn
the HSI isn’t synchronized automaticaly, if you were referring to the HDG being able to be sync like in the king air, it s not possible on those Bendix/King KI 525A

Thanks for your mods…i really like your dark panels but unfortunately it took me 2 hours to find out that your camera mod (higher viewpoint) for the baron is causing a CTD while loading MSFS. (At least on my system)
As soon as I switch that mod off in addon linker, MSFS starts well.
I had the exact same issue this morning until I disabled the same mod.
I am also grateful to Jaydee for the mods, but unfortunately the camera mod causes CTD for me too.

The prop turns starts up , spikes to about 10” MP then just dies. The right started with no issues .
40 seconds minimum Hi-boost before start + throttle half open when starting is the only 100% success rate method i found.
