I set the pilot kohlsman different from the copilot and transpoinder altimeters, and when the climb reached the altitude selected in the 297B, the aircraft leveled off and the pilots altimeter was exactly correct. In addition to setting target altitude, pilot needs to press the ENG and ARM buttons to enable the capture.

Next, while level, I twisted the adjustment knob on the Pilots altimeter for 100’ change and the autopilot moved the aircraft altitude such that the pilots altimeter gauge again read the selected altitude.

The AP is 100% following the Pilots altimeter. It is labeled ‘Encoding’ so that is realistic.

With the help of Voice of Reason at Just Flight support I got feathering and mixture of the turbine working.

You are absolutely correct. blades are wrong when you study closely. Like the shop bolted on the wrong blades. Thank you Asobo. Need to grin and ignore I’m afraid.

Maybe a new variant of counter rotating prop ?

Except the Baron does NOT have counter-rotating props, it has a critical engine (the left one) . Presumably this was to reduce the initial purchase cost and eliminate the need for two different types of engine to be kept as spares for the same plane.

Just to be clear the Turbo Baron is a flat 6 piston engine with a turbocharger.

It is NOT a turboprop (jet engine with a prop stuck on the front).

I got it working with this method plus , I had to flick the fuel selectors from on/off/on , throttle full open and boost pumps low … and it starts … thanks

hey Good to know, if you own the baron but not the bonanza yet, the Baron open you the right to a 25% discount for the bonanza ! (on my side it s what I can read on the order page btw)

I updated my customization pack. The CTD caused by the camera mod should be fixed.I also included a beta version of a fligh model rework. Climb and Cruise Performance should be now very very close to the POH (from 1974).

Will the Bonanza be getting the same attention? Its flight model are performance are both quite inaccurate

Nice. Unfamiliar with this aircraft. Had to look it up. Interesting model. This dev came out blasting out of nowhere (well not really nowhere). Just Flight did good by taking them in-house.
