So after the update, what does the mod do? Did the updates fix the power, takeoff distance, and all that or not? Is your mod still an overhaul of the performance?
The black panel is such an eye candy at night with all the lighting. LOVE IT.

After the first Update, the performance of the Native Mod is definitely better and closer to poh. But my Mod brings the performance still closer to the POH performance charts. Especially the Fuel Flow is still off in the Native Mod in my opinion and the fuel gauge just dont show the right Ingame Variable. And with my Mod you really have a Torque Drop and Anti Ice Mechanic, when using the Inertial Seperator. When the Fuel Flow Gauge and the Inertial Seperator get fixed in the Native Addon, then I would say you don´t necessarily need my mod anymore^^.

Do you plan on a similar mod for the King Air analogue once released? Assuming it has the same issues as the Caravan.

Bit of an interesting viewpoint, the King Air version hasn’t even been released yet. Why would you already assume it has the same issues, or even any issues at all?
If it would be necessary I plan on doing so.

As I said, assuming it has the same issues. As the Caravan has them I think it’s reasonable to believe the King Air could too. Its the same dev and its no different from expecting, for example, Carenado aircraft to have similar quirks from aircraft to aircraft.
Also i’ve been simming for 18 years, I know how addon releases go by now.

Just to let everyone know there’s a further update for the Caravan coming very soon. It’s extensive, the sounds have been massively improved and there’s more in the update too. We hope to have it live early next week, a video will accompany the update showcasing the sound improvements. Had hoped to release this week but it’s taken more time to complete than our developer had hoped.
Just wanted to pop a post in here so you al know there’s further work continuing that will enhance the add-on further. Not forgotten, we think you’ll love the update. Thanks to all who have purchased he Caravan thus far, we hope you’re enjoying your time with it.
And yes the King Air is well on the way too and not too far away. It’s even featured in the video, so you’ll get more than just a glimpse there!

The whole concept of upgrading an attractive but limited stock style aircraft is one that is long overdue. Anyone thought of talking to Carenado?

Via what? GPS? Radio Nav? If the former make sure that your nav system is on GPS and not VOR. There is an alerter somewhere mid panel which confirms the source used for NAV.

Radio nav works a treat for me in the Caravan. It is one of the big reasons that I love it so much. Do you pick up VORs ok? If you get these just tune a direct to, check the dme and you have a basic functionality there, though radials are much more fun, especially when using nav 2 in conjunction

I get the impression the only reason than SimCoders are able to do REPs for any of thew X-Plane Carenados is that it was Thranda who coded the XP versions and so Simcoders could talk to them rather than Carenado.
