suggest you looking at what benmapp did, probably a problem in the exe.xml
there is long standing bug within the sim where the exe file isn’t properly loading the good add-on path
then the instrumentutilis.exe won’t launch maybe cause it s not on a default directory . search on your hard drive in programe file( xXX)
so have to doble check and do the correction manually.
Thanks. I will look at that. But even when I load it manually it doesn’t seem to work.
Got it loading now. I think that my problem was some interference from JayDee’s mod.
John.
Anyone created a Little Navmap performance/fuel profile for it yet that they’d like to share? The LNM downloadable caravan profile is for the Ex version not the 675 version…
Thanks
I don’t think so, JeeDay mod should not affect those exe.xml file in fact I heard about an old bug in asobo s side
Running perfect with with weather radar tweek in the no glitches in Dev mode now and no stuttering ![]()
Well not affecting the exe.xml but affecting the instrument utility.
Just in case: Don´t use my OLD mod on the new version 0.1.2 of the Caravan. It can mess things up. Only use my NEWEST version without flight model changes of my Mod.
Thanks. Yes, I think that was my problem. I will pick up your new mod today.
Is anyone else experiencing a slow torque gauge since the 0.1.2 update?
When I increase/decrease power, Ng reacts quickly as expected but the needle on the torque gauge takes a second or two to catch up to the new power setting, which makes it very easy to over-torque the engine. Before I updated, the needle moved at pretty much the same rate as the power lever.
I have read the AutoPilot related posts but still don’t quite understand.
I have the PMS50 GTN750 and I have the new-kap140 installed. The AP is awkward and even unpredictable. If I use the default kap140 (which I believe is recommended for TDS 750 users, which I am not), AP behavior is even worse.
Is there anything else I need to install? Is this a but Black Square is working on?
after cold dark, needle delay is normal, I think it s how it really act on a turbo prop
something I do to avoid overtorque on take off → i turn inertial separator on,
I think it increase the take off distance a bit but better than ruinning the engine ![]()
yes they are actually on a hot fix concerning AP behaviors devs are aware
after a mail exchange
I already fixed the timer bug on the KR87, and there were a couple things with the WTT Mod that I also fixed. We’ll publish a hotfix in less than a week, hopefully with the new custom KAP 140.
so it should show up this week ![]()
to avoid fast target altitude change, suggest you to unselect Altitude mode , pushing the alt key one time then using the knobs
Hopefully they’ve sorted weather radar bug?
as far as I know they were still testing various feature incremented within this weather radar
Yes, I see the same thing. I assumed this was part of some turboprop improvements in the new version.
This delay is realistic behaviour. NG, RPM should react promptly and the Torque will rise slower.
I guess we’ll wait for the patch then. The autopilot is difficult to handle at this stage after the update. I’ve had the aircraft continue descent past the target altitude. Even after I press the ALT button it continues descent. I have to deactivate autopilot to stabilise the plane.
Yep, I’ve had issues too. Yesterday it blew through the cruise altitude I’d set, and it couldn’t be corrected not matter what I did.
