Black Square Steam Gauge Overhaul - King Air 350i

I’m on 0.1.1, and not 0.1.1a … i wonder if it’s worth it reinstalling the original 0.1.0 release again, just to check that it’s not a mod conflict? I’ve updated the PDMG 737 and the 320NX, as well as the DA-62X today  Or are we relatively sure it’s purely confined to the BS mod itself?

I updated to 0.1.1.a and found a “workaround” to start the engines is to introduce fuel with low-idle. I know that’s outside the standard start-up procedure but I was able to get the engines started that way and in-flight now. TDS 750 and everything seems to be working. Easier to taxi now as well. SU11 beta.

Great. This will probably help them to isolate the issue.

Same problem, reinstalling the last version solved the problem, so seemed to be really a bug in the todays-patch

We might have found the problem, at least for some of you, please try to replace the
line in the engines.cfg with that on here

n1_to_shaft_torque_table = 0:0, 62:0.03, 95:1, 100:1.1, 110:1.25 ; Corrected N1 → Shaft Torque ; JAYDEE 0.8

it is at the bottom of the file.

Moving to low-idle, is how it’s supposed to work…

-battery ON
-flue-pump ON
-ignition ON
-STARTER
-at 13-15% N1 move condition-lever to low-idle

Did you do something different ?

Unless I am missing something, seems like a huge bug, how did it get through to being pushed out live?

It got out, because it worked (and still workes fine for some including me and the dev). But we are working on it right now, I assure you.

idk if this info makes a difference to your troubleshooting, but I’m on SU10, using a Virpil CM3.

Edit: also I don’t know how to find “engines.cfg”; I can’t seem to find where the actual files from the installer are located. I don’t see them in official or community folders?

Hmm… maybe you should look for some beta testers for coming releases…

Thanks - sounds good.

As soon as its fixed, I will buy it, I am looking forward to flying it.

Sorry for the confusion, following the proper procedure as you outlined actually works perfectly for me for whatever reason. i.e. I start in cut-off and can see N1 move up then I introduce fuel and it starts right up. I’m using a custom livery that I converted. I didn’t uninstall previous version, btw. just ran the installer over the old one (including .1.1)

Not sure if su11 beta is the difference but I wouldn’t recommend su11 beta in general at this point as there are many other problems.

how did you find the last version? All I can see available now is 0.1.1.

After new cfg line… startup a GO !

I’ll report, once airborne…

Hi JayDee

Since yesterday, not able to have the PMS GTN displayed (Support tickent didn’t help also)

And now plane is not usable. really weird behaviour :frowning:

Last CFG Jaydee sent me worked out nicely
Now lets give him and the guys a little time and we’re getting served

Just to help a little. JayDee and the dev and us at Just Flight are aware. There were problems in the new builds that we set live today, the problems weren’t apparent until they went live. We’re trying to get this sorted right now for everyone as you’ll see from the forum activity. We hope to have some good news on progress shortly. Thanks for your patience.

You mean when you toggle the selection switches on the right side of the Co-Pilot’s yoke, it doesn’t display the PMS GTN? And the sim software is running in the background properly when MSFS has started?
