With the popularity of this product, what do you think should be next for the Black Square team?

when I installed ver 0.1.0 in the first time, the engine behave well
but now I tried to install 0.1.1b and I cant start the engine - its look like there is no fuel or fuel valve is off.
the Ng go to 20%, and then nothing - go to 0% and start again and again.
also when I tried to start the flight from the air - the aircraft goes immediately to cold and dark and the engines failed to start.

the very strange issue - I tried to uninstall and reinstall ver 0.1.0 and now i have the same problem with that version.

note: only when I installed the first time, I asked by installation to enter my email and password, may be the problem with the engines linked to some product protection?

did you cycle with other aircraft when you made the update, will suggest to do so, in order to actualise the rollingcache and cached files. if problem still occur try clean uninstall via windows panel → uninstall application menu and then reinstall the 1.1b switching several time the plane before giving him a try

strange stuff , while bug was on, FF was working Ng was going upper than20% I think it s a faillure right now, maybe I m wrong, did you tried restoring the plane ? aux fuel pump etc

I tried to close FS2020, using control panel and than fresh install of 0.1.1b or even 0.1.0 and the engine not working for me. even I start the flight from the air

I missed all the fuss yesterday, but reading it now. That had to be super stressful for the Dev, JayDee and NiKoTin. As a SCADA integrator that often gets called in the wee hours I can only congratulate you on your efforts and recommend not to do anything MSFS related until Monday morning and instead do something beer related. Great job guys!

I highly recommend you to open a ticket on JF
I will keep you inform someone else was still having same issue as your yesterday with 1.1b, trying to contact him right now to know if he fixed it as I conected him with dev, maybe they did some progress on this case

I still recommend to try cycling with a B737 and other stuff each time you install / update a plane.

clear cache (via msfs game option general → data, is often useful step also, but better do this only if you set your sim to don’t create a cache file, otherwise you may lost part of setting you made

I will,

I close FS2020 and even restart my computer before reinstalling the aircraft

Quick question as I didnt find anything in the manual…what does this message means? I have this when i load the aircraft ( also the same message shows up for the right side) Thx

This might give you a clue how to fix it and many other warnings

I almost sure my engine problem connected to some activation issue, but when I uninstall and reinstall clean installation, I not asked to put Email and password

There is some way to uninstall also the user details ?

imo if you entered the wrong password or id, the installer wouldn’t have let you install the app … did you try reaching JF’s support service, maybe they are close for the week end, I m still in waiting of a reply of the other user concerned
does all your mod are up to date (mostly thinking about gtn750 ) ? any JayDee or other modder mod installed related to king air ?

Same thing happened to me. I switched the Gen Ties to Open and the power kicked in. I must have missed a step from the checklist (I skipped the run-up on this being my first flight and anxious to fly). But then my landing gear wouldn’t come up no matter what I tried. Still searching for answers for that.

0.1.1b is fully ok !

No more engine issues. nice work

if you got landing gear issue, there is a lever on pilot’s foot close oxygen T bar to manually activate the descent of the gears, for electricity don’t forget to use triple fed insted off battery or generator L / R on the upper panel
from POH

Section 7
Systems Description Model B300/B300C
7-42
LANDING GEAR MANUAL EXTENSION
An alternate extension handle, placarded LANDING GEAR ALTERNATE
EXTENSION, is located on the floor on the pilot’s side of the pedestal. To engage
the system, pull the LANDING GEAR RELAY circuit breaker, located to the left of
the LDG GEAR CONTROL on the pilot’s right subpanel, and ensure that the LDG
GEAR CONTROL is in the DN position. Remove the alternate extension handle
from the securing clip and pump up and down. While pumping, do not lower the
handle below the level of the securing clip during the down stroke as this will
allow accumulated hydraulic pressure to bleed off. Continue the pumping action
until the three green gear-down annunciators are illuminated and further
resistance is felt, then stow the handle in the securing clip. If one or more gear
down annunciators do not illuminate, the alternate extension handle must not be
stowed. Instead, leave it at the top of the up stroke. Continue to pump the handle
when conditions permit until the gear is mechanically secured after landing.
Refer to LANDING GEAR MANUAL EXTENSION in Section 3A, ABNORMAL
PROCEDURES. If any of the following conditions exist, it is likely that an unsafe
gear indication is due to an unsafe gear and is not a false indication.

  1. The inoperative gear down annunciator illuminates when tested.
  2. The red lights in the handle are illuminated.
  3. The gear warning horn sounds when one or both power levers are retarded
    below 85% N1 .
After a practice manual extension of the landing gear, the gear may be retracted
hydraulically. Refer to LANDING GEAR RETRACTION AFTER PRACTICE
MANUAL EXTENSION in Section 4, NORMAL PROCEDURES.

So high-idle or low-idle during approach? I’m struggling to get it to smoothly reach the 160 kts maximum allowed flaps speed when approaching with high-idle.

Saw a video of “Into the Blue Simulations” and he had it on low-idle all the way from cruise until landing. Hmmm…

Actually the problem wasn’t extension. I couldn’t get the gear to retract. The gear handle lit up and made the beeping noise, but the gear wouldn’t go up. I thought maybe I was going too fast, but once I slowed down, it still wouldn’t go up.
