briefly did the test with FTsim + audio, had good result with exitclose 0 ;exit open -24 value, as ftsim + are much louder than default sound wonder if insulation can be like -45 (saw this on the twin otter sound xml). Does it mean it s not like I originaly thought (value have to be between -24 , 0 ? I will make some flight with ftsim+ pack to see how they are, then probably I will revert because I don’t support this sound loudness ![]()
I turn on the bleeds as part of the startup process (because it says so in the check lists). But I will try electrical on the ground first and see if that helps. Thanks!
Thanks. I couldn’t figure out the difference between the Cabin Temp selector and the Man Temp switch INC clicker. And I thought the Cabin Temp selector should be at more like 8 or 9 o’clock, not 1. Thanks for the info, will give it all a try.
Ok, but please be aware the bleed switches have 3 Positions.
just curious if anyone else has noticed this (i might be doing something wrong).
after starting up, the plane responds to rudder inputs just like i would expect as i taxi. everything feels like it does in other planes.
i go for a flight and when i land, rudder inputs on the ground are extremely sluggish to the point that i have to use differential braking or i cannot turn the plane in a reasonable amount of time.
i haven’t switched anything off (of note) between these two phases of flight. again, i am probably missing something but i can’t figure this out.
In my case I only used one GPS at a time, so I don’t know. Like you, it seems to work fine with my 750, but I can’t find a switch to turn on audio monitoring for com3 in order to use dual monitoring with the 530. I’m just missing it somewhere. But at least i know now it’s more of a vPilot thing than a KA thing.
I believe the previous post indicated that using 3 comms won’t work.
Well, what I meant by that was that in the Analogue Caravan, you can switch on audio for both comm2/3, and then you can monitor comm2 on vpilot. In the caravan there’s an actual button in the radio panel to turn on monitoring for comm3. In the KA I can’t find a switch that accomplishes the same thing ![]()
Yaw damper? Makes it very hard to taxi from what I’ve read. Should be turned on in flight and disabled on final approach so it’s an easy thing to miss.
Make sure the AP yaw damper are turned off

cool, thank you guys. i will keep an eye on that - i am betting that’s what it is!
Probably not many produced and sold with analog AI/HSI, but lots out there (still) with the old (but for some reason epic!) Pro Line II suite. I would pay for another version of this fine upgrade (downgrade?
) if we could get a Pro Line II suite in there… (in my non-developer mind it would be just replacing the analog AI/HSI with the CRTs… the rest of the systems should remain the same/similar?)… But, until my wildest dreams can come true, I shall enjoy the heck out of the amazing mod that BlackSquare and JustFlight have provided. (Can you tell - I love King Airs
)
Some shots of the epic Pro Line II -

(I actually don’t think this is a Pro Line II, but it still looks epic with those CRTs ![]()
Still having problems switching from inches to hpa and spent half an hour clicking away at the appropriate knob on the altimeter with just about every combination I could think of. I have recently gone over to the new as opposed to legacy mouse mode and am scratching my head. Does anybody have any ideas or tips? They would be much appreciated and it would make my Europe based flying more enjoyable both for me and my multiplayer ATCOs.
middle mouse click ? or maintain left click then click right
Will try when next at PC. Thanks very much indeed. I think that I hadnt tried your last selection, but might also try it with another mouse instead of my Corsair to see if that makes a difference.
Hold left mouse on the knob, and right click.
Did try that one. Didnt work and seemed to just fire up the freelook function.
did you change some binding with the mouse ? while you left click on something shouldn’t active the freelook
it s like switching from decimal to unity (10 to 1 ) on KR87 (the ndb recepter) or many other radio com
finishing my flight then will take a look
edit : I confirm left click (on the altimeter right knob) while you click left you shouldn’t have your free cam activated ,so then click right , it must switch unit (using modern setting)
Thanks very much indeed to both you and Kangou. I will try it on Saturday when next at the PC.
