Black Square Steam Gauge Overhaul - King Air 350i

would give a try to the JPLogistics C152 Enhancement Mod heard he hwas conflicting for someone on the c208 (I m not sure !), best way is to bring back 50 % of mods, if problem is back remove 50% of them , if it s still not there bring back only 50% (so 25% of initial) of the other mod look behavior etc

Copy thanks, appreciate the prompt reply. I’ll give it a shot. I’ve put the payware back in for now, will see if it works.

Mmh, there are no Addons that really pop out. But I see you have taken out the Black-Square Analog King Air too?
Besides that, you have a really old version of the pms50 gtn. Please dont use these folders anymore. The GTn750 now only has one folder. Maybe other Garmin Mods are outdated to. These would be my first guesses:
-Asbo-King-Air-N360NG
-livery-Asobo-B350-RAAF…
-PMS50
-WorkingTitle G3000
-workingtitle-gx

Yeah I have updated the old pms; deleted the old one.
It sill works with PMDG, JF146 and working title stuff back in there. Basically I have most of the mods I use back in place, so that’s all I need. I can try find the fault for you though and report back.

Thanks !
A question though

Is this correct for the KA since the light is on retracted gear at this altitude?

Also… what’s up with the Yaw Damper annunciator light above the AI. Why does it not light up when Yaw damper is on?

My first impression: purchased yesterday after seeing the plane on Twitch, used my spare time today to read the manual (which could’ve benefitted from some proofreading), spent an hour or two familiarizing myself with the aircraft and going through the checklists, took off and as soon as the wheels left the ground, everything started stuttering, which was extremely unpleasant in VR.

Ragequit.

Skimmed through this thread, saw that other people had the same problem weeks ago. Not a word about this issue in the FAQ section of the manual, or anywhere else I checked. No obvious solution in this thread, as far as I could see. Couldn’t find a support forum in the Just Flight forum, or a Discord server. I have the latest version of the PMS GTN (2.1.50), incl. the WTT stuff. I don’t have the spare time, energy, or motivation to go hunting for workarounds, or to contact support, since I fully expect to be told by either of the involved parties that some other party is at fault, or being denied support because I’m running the SU11 beta for another day.

Considering the limited scope of the product and its price, I regret my purchase at this point.

inb4 “Stop whining, it works for me.” That’s great, I’m happy for you.

Since I was quoted, I’ll comment on this. The issue I was refering to was an issue with the GTN750, and it was happening on other plane equiped with this version. I’t has since stopped about 2 updates ago.

I’ve only heard of one other person commenting about very low frame rates. Not sure what they did to resolve it. if ever…

Thanks for your input and your kind words, @NiKoTin3420 and @KingAirB200. With the imminent release of SU11 and the limited time I have atm, I don’t feel it makes much sense trying to do anything about the issue right now. I’ll give it some time, at least until SU11 has stabilized, and if I still have the same problem, I’ll start bothering the support people.

Maybe the Recog lights instead? Since a checklist item to turn on the landing lights is also in the Approach/Landing sections.

Sorry to hear about your struggles with VR. And yeah, I’ll be that guy to say “it works for me” but I will say that there are folks who can help tune your system to get good, smooth performance out of your VR setup.

I have done several live streams with this aircraft and the performance is great. And that is running MSFS on high to ultra settings, StreamLabs, live chat pulled in to the sim, VATSIM Radio, Navigraph all while hooked up to the VATSIM network…

Couple of things to figure out with your VR setup - what hardware? Which headset? Are you using OpenXR Toolkit? What are your sim settings? So many variables.

Here’s an example of a stream with the King Air with all that other stuff I mentioned running. It is truly an amazing aircraft in VR, to be honest. I think we just need to work on tuning your rig for better VR performance.

Just to clarify: SU11 has been really good for me, 45 fps almost all the time, at 200% resolution* (Vive Index, Ryzen 9, 3080ti). And I don’t notice any performance impact of the PMS GTN750 in the MV310.

In the B350, the experience was perfectly smooth until the plane left the ground. In the air, the performance went into single digits and lower (sim hanging for a second or two between frames). That was probably the most unpleasant minute I spent in VR since I got my first headset in 2016.

edit: * I realized the figure 200% is meaningless without context (it’s just my “per-application custom resolution multiplier” in SteamVR). The resulting SteamVR resolution is 3400something x 3800something, OpenXR toolkit is currently disabled, because I was experimenting with different DLSS settings in SU11.

I actually thought of that too… Maybe that’s right.

This Is Copy Paste from my usual Checklists. I will change that. Thanks for pointing out.

Thanks for your donation (assuming you are using a similar nick on flightsim.to). Much appriciated.

Guys, just to inform King Air cockpit builders that I made a small mod to use the G1000 Nxi with the Black Square Steam Gauge Overhaul version.

Black Square King Air 350i [Analog Overhaul] - WT G1000 Nxi Mod retrofit for cockpit builders » Microsoft Flight Simulator

I would like to thank the dev team for helping me on this, the King is 100% interfaced with the Black Square King Air new systems, it is a pleasure to fly.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions on this particular setup.
