PLEASE hold my hand and explain what to do with the installer zip file. It opens to reveal three files and a readme. Clicking on the exe file results in an error. After opening the zip, what exactly do I do with which file(s) exactly. {the readme has no installation instructions). Thank you.

Extract the three files (exe and the two zip archives) into a single folder - do not extract the two zip archives, leave them compressed - then run the exe. Assuming the process hasn’t changed from the first beta release…

Running the .exe results in an “error extracting the files…”

I’m downloading as we speak - I’ll check and see if anything is different. It’s possible that your download wasn’t perfect (these things do happen)…

Update: yep, no change. The exe should work with the two compressed files in the same folder. The installer seems… kind of fidgety, though. It errored out as “no internet connection” the first time (when there clearly was an internet connection…), but worked the second time. But it works VERY slowly (at least for me) - if it seems like it’s stalled out, let it sit for a bit.

Guessing maybe one of your files didn’t get downloaded correctly? Here’s the sizes:

Maybe use 7-Zip to extract the file instead of the Windows Zip function?

Got it to work after much heartache. 7zip resulted in the .exe refusing to play. After unzipping with Windows, the exe would run but fail to install in my E:/MSFS 2024/Community folder. For some reason, the fifth attempt worked. What a mess. Perhaps a less troublesome install scheme would merit some thought, especially since what I needed was the simple subdirectory in the FILES.7z directory, though I assume that defeats your IP protection strategy.
