Blackbird Simulations News/ Updates

Maybe, but it even then it’s sort of a RTDM kind of addon. It’s part of the experience for me.

You might be better off going for Kwikflight’s version of the SR-71, as that is designed to be easy to use and might be a better fit for you, particularly if you like to fly outside of the aircraft.

Depends what you want to do. Take off and land? Maybe. Actually get the aircraft up to 80,000 feet and Mach 3? No.

Yes. Maybe. But If i buy this masterpiece for XBOX..there could be a 0,00001 percent better chance that the Blackbird Viper could come for Xbox too. The more people buy the SR-71 on Xbox …there would be a higher possibility that the F-16 could come for XBOX too. I want that Block 50/52 Viper on Xbox. And i can not wait for the Indiafoxtecho Block 15. But a later Block is cooler.

It doesnt matter how many people buy something on xbox for a later project to come to console.
Corsair was very popular but T6 never came across.
Its down to IF console is able to handle running the product.
The Dirty Thirty will never be able to run on xbox or ps. I would not be surprised if F16 would be the same.
Sales have nothing to do with it.

Yes of course. The limited Xbox hardware has to handle the product. I am sure that the IFE F-16 will run on Xbox because all of their aircraft run on the Xbox.

And hopefully the the Blackbird Viper will run on the Xbox. Many planes made by Blackbird Sims run on Xbox. By the way …the SR-71 is very good flyable on the Xbox…

Can you please give more details about?

It’s in testing. Not much to say.

Okay, thank you

When can we expect to hear something more concrete about the development of the 737-200?

Just curious, any news or previews available? Is there a livestream planned anytime soon that may discuss this?

update:

732 coding is ongoing and looking good. Model is in progress and moving ahead apace. No further info.

F4U-1D coding is ongoing. External model is done and being painted. Cockpit is nearly done and then it’s off to paint. No further info.

Any updates for the T6 in the pipeline?

We have a new DLL for 2020… but… we’re still having issues with the orange screens. Asobo is looking into this.

Any updates for a T-6 / SNJ getting into the pipeline…

Are we going to be able to use all the 737 200 configurations in career mode in fs2024?

Blackbird has previously indicated a lack of interest in Career mode, citing too much conflict with their own systems - though TFDI, SWS, and others seem to have figured it out, so there may be a way eventually.

Mate, look…

I know the 80R has been put into permanent hold ever since the competitors announced the loss making 20 bucks for an “expert series” high fidelity aircraft that for the last three years.. Been…

Lets just say, an on going project without the actual bug fixes…

What if you guys had actually completed your version…

If you released your completed version right now with the vison you had…

Do you guys have any thoughts or confidence that just maybe…just maybe you might have recaptured 90% of the market that brought the ATR on the pretenses that the 20buck atr was going to be the complete pmdg quality package.. will buy your version at say a reasonably priced 40-50-60 buck Blackbird one thats… keyword “complete and bug free”

I know what you’re getting at, but let’s also be realistic and recognize that no aircraft has ever been released with the above description.

I know but there is a plane that has a few… lets just say “cosmetic pmdg/fenix/just flight and Blackbird how in the how did that slip”?" bugs that is usually followed by a sincere apology “oops my bad” bug fix… fss c414 is a brilliant example..

Then you have…

A blatant emersion stopping hell… experience stopping simple "turn on the terrain map and 10 minutes of freeze later’ type bugs that gets absolutely not a peep from the developer and will probably be like that until msfs 2030…

Like I say.. yup.. there are many of some of our most trusted developers/software that has been released with bugs or bugs that are still present but have been fixed or attempted to be fixed with posted updates/acknowledgments by developers.

Then there are many examples of well known examples on the “polls and offical content” feedback section that…

Just proves that offering cut price products never actually works and never benefits the end consumer…

I definitely feel that, had Blackbird or the very least.. the main boss chipped away at the 80R over the course of the last three years and had completed it, and right now, released the 80R with the quality and customer support Blackbird has..

Even if it was at a higher price for the cost as a company, initially developing it, to then do it for free in one’s own personal time..

I definitely feel that even 50 at the cheapest… The 80R if it had all the key systems like LNAV/VNAV, a few circuit breakers along with Blacbirds wear and tear and state save…

I absolutely have no doubt in my mind that the would recoup all costs involved with the making and make a tidy wee profit, and definitely take back most, if not all Asobo ATR buyers right now, most of which, fly the aircraft with its intended market it was aimed at…

Which isnt the Crt E Instagram/facebook shorts “can i land the ATR at Lukla” community

But the A330 driver/320simpilot let’s fly a full vatsim flight from Rotorua to Queenstown with a full RNP approach onto runway 5, which just so happens to be one of the most complex/challenging RNP approaches for a software… with a go around, a hold and using the sec flightplan for a diversion to Invercargill…
