It still doesn’t click for me right away that Blackbird is Milviz. Talk about muddying the waters and squandering brand recognition.
I believe they had a business reason or requirement to restrict the Milviz brand to professional contracts.
The problem is that it’s hard to keep things straight between Blackbird, Black Box and Black Square. Bit of a traffic jam on that particular road less travelled by…

Nah mate it’s all good… You kinda forget what’s happening when they change from milviz to blackbird and then you have so many companies that now have a the same word, ![]()

But mate!!! A flipping 737-200!!! Everyone needs a 737-200!!!
I just hope these guys see that, as what’s been stated, in their last update on the 732, that it was being put to the back of the que… I hope they really ramp it up!!!
How many people here would love to get their hands on a 737-200???
Wait until Blue Bird 757.
Between birds and boxes we are all stocked up!
I’d totally do it so long as there is a GPS.
Not into VOR flying.
Have you ever tried dead reckoning? Now thats an experience in navigation!!!
Staying on topic…. Two items I am super excited for from Blackbird (MilViz), the 737-200, and the T-6A Texan II. ![]()
I haven’t and to tell you the truth, I am not even exactly sure what that entails. It doesn’t sound very fun. ![]()
For the Texan… I own all the other Milviz stuff, but am having a difficult time getting excited about that one. It will probably help once a couple of videos are out as Blackbird doesn’t put out bad stuff. It’s just that the bird itself is not very exciting to me. I don’t really know why. I think it takes a special kind of military bird to get me excited… Vulcan is one, Spirit is another, the F-35, Spitfire, Corsair… but they are all very UNIQUE birds that are distinct and so different from others that I must have them. Texan? I can’t think of anything special about it.
Blackbird is Blackbird Simulations, and Blackbox is Blackbox Simulations so we can refer to the three as BS which sounds really terrible when you say things like “the BS King Air”…
But oh well brands…
Dead Reckoning is more or less:
Point in a direction.
Count.
Hope you can figure out the drift.
Lots more exciting aspects to show to get you guys hyped for the T6A - one stand out feature that we haven’t touched on too much yet is the fact that our simulation is currently in use by the USAF as part of their training before trainees strap into the real cockpit itself. 737 is still a WIP too, hopefully we can bring you guys some more teases for it soon. Thanks for your patience with us!
Well, that’s one way to get me excited. ![]()
Hoping for more SR-71 teasers!
The Blackbird Blackbird. I’m seeing double

Ct-144? Is that a different aircraft or do you mean the c-114 tutor that the snowbirds fly
Try to find Stanley Field from Georgetown in the Vulcane not using GPS.
Anyway, flying the Vulcane with GPS is something I"d never consider. In my opinion this is like fitting anti lock brakes to a '69 MGB Roadster.
Ah, my fingers were moving faster than my mind… or something like that. CT-114 is what I meant to say…
There’s a problem with this???
Of course not. Just said that I wouldn’t do it. It’s the beauty of the sim that everybody can use it as he likes.
(Sometimes I like to say ridiculous things…
)
Any word if the Texan will have aerobatic smoke?
