The blue boxes lead me once to the wrong side of the runway. I Do not remember the airport.
I saw the message of the ATC which was to land on runway XX, left the boxes-path and landed on the runway the ATC told me and succeeded.

I expirienced that too.
I just had this happen on two career flights in a row. On the first one, I landed and it did not recognize the landing being complete at all. After restarting the (short) flight, I realized ATC called out a different runway and was able to deviate from the blue prompts and successfully complete landing on the runway as called out by ATC.
