I’ve encountered a few airports in FS2020 where the blue taxi lights are super close or even right on a yellow taxiway line. Is this realistic in real life? Seems really strange that your landing gear could hit a light pretty easily, even if your nose wheel is right on the yellow taxi stripe.
(Of course, I don’t have a screen shot handy, but I’ll make sure add one to this post later this week.).
Not realistic, and is a longtime bug.

Checkout the Wishlist post about taxiway lights on poles - and vote for change. This phenomenon of lights, on poles, on centrelines and at intersections is a common feature across many, many airfields/airports. I believe that the default position should be surface mounted taxiway lighting everywhere.
Thanks…I was searching on “Taxi lights” but not “taxiway lights”, and found I’m not alone in seeing this.
