BlueBird Simulations 757

I like seeing the development steps as it comes together.

It’s just different strategies about communication. For a new company I think this is the right one, if some company called Bluebird just launched a 757 out of the blue(so to speak) everyone would probably just assume it might be junk till word starts getting around. This way they’re going to have a ton of day one customers

They’re one of the JustFlight backed developments, so I think that people would expect some level of greatness that they may not from other ‘unknown’ developers… On the other hand, JustFlight’s previous 757 was about their shallowest aircraft ever, so those that remember the JustFlight LITE range may have some inherent bias against it.

I mean this is for @BlueBirdSim to say for sure but I don’t think they have a direct relationship with JustFlight as far as the product goes, probably something like Black Square where they have no involvement or input in the products just help distribute them

Aerosoft was already a train wreck, we all knew what was happening with the A330 and the disastrous release surprised no one.

I believe Bluebird is going to deliver a very nice 757 add-on, eventually. I don’t like what they did with their early announcements and posts trying to block other devs from starting a 757 when they actually had nothing but I don’t think that is enough to event think about putting them in the same category as Aerosoft.

Just to clarify, JF has nothing to do with the development of this plane. It’s all being done by us and of course Boris with the sounds.

The choppiness in the video was due to the recording software. This is why mentioned in the video that optimization and performance are important. I just forgot to point out that choppy section in the video was caused by the recording software. And also with all due respect to “Talk less and airplane more” , do you have any airplane dev experience? Do you understand the time and effort it takes to put together a high level airliner for MSFS from scratch? Regarding the long dev time, I have covered this at length several times but for some reason, folks like yourself still don’t get it.

And I like talking about the project and keeping everyone informed. Do you think I wanted it to take this long? No of course not. But in case you missed my other videos because you think I talk too much, I’ll say it again… We don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.

Now if you don’t like being informed on the status of the project that is fine. I suggest just ignore us until the plane is released. Watch some reviews, check the various forums for feedback and then make a decision on whether you want to buy the plane or not. My guess is that if you really want a 757 that is optimized for performance then you will be sold.

Cheers

It won’t turn out like that. I think I have mentioned it several times that we don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.

The downside of social media era is that instead of just ignoring things that don’t relate to them, people like to make comments just to make comments, hence the “just post the plane when it’s ready”.

Do what you guys want to do and keep up the good work, including all the updates you post here.

You can’t please everyone however I think they’re taking the only right approach.

Some people are fine with unfinished products, 80/20 products etc. The developer himself wants it released yesterday if that was possible so let’s just wait patiently.

Asking for less progress updates is maybe saving a day or 2 in the 4 years so what are we talking about really. Enjoy the updates and hopefully other developers will be inspired to bring the same level of detail.

I said it would be an unpopular opinion. But unlike some people, I was not rude or disrespectful about it. There’s a lesson there.
