Bob Hope to McCarran

What I discovered today: When flying east out of Burbank, choose an aircraft that can climb like the name of Michael Lee Aday’s first studio album!

Leaving Burbank

Initial climb was 1000 FPM, but I quickly realized that was not going to cut it. This was still climbing at 2000 FPM, and there was still a lot of red in my Relative Terrain mode!

Once I was past the hazards, I reduced the climb rate back to 1000 FPM to gain some ground speed and get the gamblers in my back seats to Las Vegas as quick as possible.

And finally entering left downwind for 26R at McCarran
