Boeing 737-8 max asobo Crash take off

The Asobo 737-8 MAX study-level aircraft crashes immediately upon starting the takeoff roll, even when everything is perfectly configured. Sim Update 4 must have altered the aircraft’s files or compatibility. I have performed a clean reinstallation of everything from scratch, but the issue persists. Please fix this bug; the aircraft consistently crashes during the takeoff run Xbox series x

you have, right i have this issue also,..

Ive been flying thr 737 in career without an issue. As this is free flight i can test. What airport are you taking off from?

Does the airport you are starting at (LEIB) is the default airport or a 3rd party addon ? Which runway are you taking off from ?
Are you getting the same issue at all airports ?
Do you have any Marketplace addons installed ?

The airport I’m taking off from is Ibiza (LEIB), runway 24, but I’m having the same issue at Barajas (LEMD) on runway 36L. I have the 737-800 installed locally (not streamed), but the liveries are being streamed

I managed to get the 737-8 Max airborne by disabling the ‘crash damage’ option, but there is clearly an error in Sim Update 4.

Even with the Vertical Speed (V/S) set to 1,800 fpm and the autothrottle configured for 220 knots, the aircraft wouldn’t exceed 140 knots. It began vibrating, indicating a low-speed stall. The trim is also failing due to a bug.

This is clearly an issue with the update; I performed a clean reinstallation, but the problem persists. You can only take off if ‘crash damage’ is turned off, but even then, the aircraft becomes deconfigured: the autothrottle fails to function, and the trim does not follow V/S commands. I had to stabilize the aircraft manually.

Thanks for the videos. Definitely not your aircraft configuration or flying. Puzzling. Is the 787 flying fine from these airports? Reinstall MSFS 2024.

Tested on ms-store version: LEIB RWY 24, crash damage enabled, no issue:

@jonysf25 : are you having the same issue at others airports with the B737 or just LEIB runway 24 ?

Maybe specific to Xbox ?. Would be nice to get feedback from Xbox users with the B737 at same airport/runway.

I have tried at several different airports and the same thing keeps happening: the aircraft only takes off if I disable ‘crash damage.’ Once in the air, it does not follow any Autopilot (A/P) commands. I believe it is a specific flaw with the aircraft itself. I am using the Xbox Series X system with no add-ons installed. I have already performed a clean reinstall and the issue persists. The Airbus works perfectly for me, but I am only having this trouble with the 737-8.

Are you starting cold & dark or on the runway ?
Have set a custom profile for your Xbox controller ?. If so could you test with the default profile ?
What’s weird is that no others users have been reported this issue. If it was a global one I expect many reports.

I set up the aircraft from scratch: I request IFR clearance, follow the briefing step-by-step, and perform a realistic startup and configuration. I use SimBrief for weights, cargo, and fuel, and I manually program every step into the FMC. However, the sim crashes upon takeoff. If I disable collision damage, the plane takes off, but the entire system glitches/deconfigures mid-air. Interestingly, the landing is fine and gives me no trouble.

Could you test:

  • starting on the runway
  • using the default controller profile

Ok I will try it tomorrow. I just finished a flight from Madrid to Valencia. The rear light wouldn’t turn off. I took off with crash damage disabled. It wouldn’t accelerate during takeoff; the auto-throttle stayed at maximum but wouldn’t exceed 150 knots. Once I left the airport zone, it started working correctly. During landing, it seemed to function, but there are issues with the thrust system, and the interior cabin lights are operating on their own even if not manually activated. Could this be an issue with the new PMDG 737-800? Could they have pushed a micro-update? The 737-800 is being affected even though it worked perfectly last month. I don’t know, I’ll wait for another simulator update. It’s a shame; [Flight Simulator] 2020 never created these problems. Thanks for your time.

Check out the list of open reports for the B737: Search results for '#bugs:aircraft-systems-bug tags:boeing-737 status:open' - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums, maybe some of the issues you are experiencing have already been reported.

The B737 has been introduced in FS2024 so there was no issue in FS2020 since it did not exist there.

The plane is fine i just cant replicate the issues. Its something to do with your setup on the xbox. Binding clashes for example can cause very stranfe behaviour. For example if you have a binding clash when you pull back on the controller that causes damage to the plane it can crash.
