Boeing 737-8 MAX Exterior Lights Far Too Bright

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: All external lights on the Asobo Boeing 737-8 MAX are too bright. I think they are turned up to 11. Logo lights, anti-collision, strobes, wing lights… All are too bright. The strobe can be blinding when viewing the plane from the outside during a night flight. The anti-collision and strobe lights are so bright, they illuminate in the cockpit when they flash on a night flight.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load into a night flight for the B737-8 MAX. A flight out over the ocean is best.

  2. Enable all exterior lights. Note the extremely bright strobes/LEDs, and that the wing, logo, and other lights are bright enough to cast a very visible light cone even in completely clear skies (no clouds).

MEDIA

Please add a screenshot or video of the issue occurring.

This is a separate issue: Aircraft Light cones dont change with humidity!

Maybe? It kind of feels like all lights in general are poorly calibrated to the ambient environment. If this is some sort of global setting in the code, I’m hoping fixing one fixes them all. I would hate to have partial fixes.
