Boeing 737 MAX Bredok3D "map display" blank

Hey there,

I recently bought the 737 MAX from the MFS store. Everything works fine, except for the “Map” instrument. Normally, it should show your route and your plane. But for me, it is not working it just shows nothing. I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how I can fix that.
thanks a lot!

the ONLY aircraft add-on that is of HIGH QUALITY for NO MONEY is the A32nx from FBW. And maybe later their A380. Otherwise, if you want a HQ aircraft…meaning with everything working in the cockpit, you’ll have to aim for PMDG, and spend arround 100€-$ per aircraft. that’s for the airliners…( i’ve read/heard the CRJ from Aerosoft is also very good, but yet not as HQ as FBW or PMDG).
Anything else than these 3 brands is going to be “basic” as MSFS2020 is still young. But not everybody wants to fly study level airliners, so Bredok, and CaptainSim are good enough for them. No critics about that !

While I agree that not everyone wants a study level aircraft.

However, I think there should even be an acceptable basic level of quality coming from any add-on. Even more so for a payware add-on like the 737 or 777.

On a non-study level aircraft, you would expect to have the same basic functionality of the default 747 or 787. The add-on 737 and 777 doesn’t even meet that standard. So that’s why a lot of people are upset with these add-ons.

Are you running Heavy Division mod for the 787? It’s not compatible with this aircraft. That could be a reason.

This isn’t a very helpful suggestion for anyone, but I’m sure you already knew that when you posted. People are here because they want to fly in MSFS, not in P3D or X-Plane. We’re well aware that airliner operations are more evolved in those sims, but we don’t want to play those sims, OR we’re looking to bring MSFS up to speed in this area. Telling people to go play another sim isn’t helpful.

I have a LOT of time in PMDG birds. The CRJ is on-par to that level of quality. The only exceptions are with the WX radar (not yet implemented) and the flex settings (can’t make it work). Other than that- it’s a beautiful jet to fly and worth every penny.

For the record- I wasn’t excited about it because it’s a CRJ after all, but I’ve been spending more time in this jet than the FBW. It’s that good.
