Hey everyone! I’m Spherical from Pinpoint Simulations, creating a 777-300ER for MSFS, and I’m here to show you various aspects of our plane we have been working on.
This will be a short summary of our work, but if you want to see more, head over to our Discord at Discord
Here is an image of our current cockpit. We went over a course of a rework as our old model had multiple inaccuracies, and we want to achieve the best realism possible. As all the things in this post, this is a work in progress, and is subject to change.
This is our current PFD SVG layout. We have started implementing this into code format and ready for the sim, but is under heavy development.
Our project does not only feature the -300ER variant, but also the -200ER, -F, -200LR and the rest of the Boeing 777 family. This installer shows our progress with desktop applications in order to install the plane. We’ve used a bit of FlyByWire Simulations code to get this working. Credits to them.
Lastly, this is just a small still picture, but we’ve got a super basic PFD in and we are progressively adding to it every week.
Thanks and welcome to the journey for a 777!

Our plane is still a work in progress and is a pre-alpha too. We have a basic PFD in, and are working on it

Hi there, welcome to the forums!
The place to post anything not made by Asobo/Microsoft is in the Third Party Addon Discussion category. I have moved your post into that category.
Ah ok, thank you for your correction. I’m a bit new around the forums and still navigating

Thank you for your efforts in making the 777. I’m definitely getting this over any CaptainSim ■■■■. I’m sure anyone would as it will be free!

How deep will this 777 be? I honestly wish you the best but at the minute I’m unsure how this will match up to PMDGs release which will probably be before this

Hey there!
We aim to create our 777 as immersive as possible by using custom gauges (PFD, ND, EICAS) to experience a real 777. However, with PMDG, we won’t compare with them as their expensive, expectations are set high, are most likely better than anyone in the market. We aim to create a free alternative one for people who cannot afford a $100-130 plane.
Hope this answer helps, leave me any questions you may have!

It really sounds interesting! One question though is about the flight dynamics, do you aim at very realistic ones maybe with support with Boeing or some engineers? Or will it be like CS being a ported 747-8? No offence on either way but more on how well should I think of as close to real thing as possible
Thanks Spherical, even though I’m defiantly getting the PMDG 777 i’ll still pick yours up too, I really appreciate what dev groups like you are doing, good look with the development

The 777 was my workhorse in FSX, and I definitely miss it in MSFS. Good luck on the project, from what I’ve seen so far it’s looking good. Do you guys have any pics of the external models to share on here?

I can afford to pay for PMDG’s plane, but I don’t feel like it. Your version has given me hope for a newer one that doesn’t rely on external mods to fix (as is the case with CS 777), and because PMDG hasn’t given any updates lately on theirs.
Hey there!
As we progress with the plane, I’ll be sharing on the forums once we have it. Thank you for your interest in our project!
Hey!
We want to create a realistic and high-fidelity 777. That said, we won’t be porting anything from the 747-8, and we will be creating our own gauges. We are actively looking for engineers, pilots and crew to have our plane be as realistic as possible.

Hi there, really appreciate the effort, but what I mean is less about the systems, but the lift surfaces and center of gravity etc. In the cfg file. Although I have no idea myself what it should be, these should affect the feeling when flying manually with the stick and throttle which personally I enjoys most, and I believe should be the most difficult ?
We want to make the most realistic flight model we can, but we currently are more focused on the modeling aspects of the plane. The CFG files will be configured to recreate the feel of a 777.
