I have Logitech rudder pedals. When I step on the left brake it moves the left rudder pedal instead of the brake. Makes slowing down impossible. My settings are Left brake axis x joystick L-Axis x joystick L-Axis x . Right brake axis y joystick L- Axis y joystick L- Axis y. Everything works fine on the right brake.
You have to move the peddle and let MSFS āfindā the axis.
Iām new to flight simulators. Do you mean when Iām in the control settings. When do I move the peddle, before I pick axis x? This is so frustrating. Iāve been trying to figure this out for days . If only I could get this straightened out.
By default the pedals should be correctly mapped just plugging them in. Try resetting the profile for the pedals to default.
If you have problems with trying to get the sim to register the brake axis before the rudder axis. Choose the input from the drop down menu and pick the one with the brake axis.
Standard behavior is this. If MSFS binding is incorrect, you go to your device in Control, top ribbon, choose function āby nameā box, type āLeft brakeā in box, at your right you see the present binding in the two (2) columns with binding boxes.
Since the present seems to be wrong, you click that box to overwrite that one, you move your peddle (ehh, thereās an āassignā chk first, forgot), MSFS should sense your device movement, in this case an axis, the name of the axis appears, you click āvalidateā so MSFS can check for double bindings, not the case, you return one level back and the new axis should be noted in the box, F11 to confirm and save changes, voila, Esc, Esc.
Thanks for all the advice. after reading all the posts, it seems like I have everything working now. Iām not even sure how I fixed it.
