Brakes Released - Airbus not moving

I am at my whits end!! Can anyone help, please? Cessna 172 - no problem

Fenix A320, FBW32nx, A330-900 - I push back, having all set up, ready to taxi, release Parking Brake - and the plane just will not move. Using Thrustmater TCA Captains Pack, plus Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals - up-to-date drivers. Working correctly as per Thrustmaster’s utility. Interestingly in the MSFS Control setup - Rudder is set correctly on axis, toe brakes set correctly on appropriate axis - and you can see the lines move as I press on the rudder pedals and the toe brakes. (See Photos) But when Brakes released and throttles advanced - plane will not move. Go to Control Options - and responses are showing movement as expected. What am I missing? There is no issue with hardware or software & drivers - it works perfectly well in a Cessna 172. It’s just the Airbus’ it seems. By the way - nothing to do with Chocks, GPU, etc. Checked that. Interestingly, I have noticed that if do not touch the pedals before taxiing, the aircraft will move, but as soon as I brake via the toe brakes - it will stop and not move, and also if I switch profiles - it will stop the movement of the rudder and brakes. Is this a bug? Or am I missing something obvious?

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Simon.

Do you have “pause” on?

Parking brake stuck on somehow or re-applied after you release it?

I have that sometimes, too (and I’m mostly in the A32NX and can only remember it happening there). What usually helps is reapplying the toe brakes and letting go again. Something seems to forget the releasing of the brakes sometimes. Be sure to reduce thrust before you do it.

Thanks for your suggestion. No Pause is not on.

Thanks for your suggestion. Providing I don’t touch the toe-brakes immediately after releasing the Parking Brake in order to Taxi - the plane moves. The moment thereafter, I touch the toe brakes - as if to test the brakes - the plane will stop and not then move, no matter how many times I press the toe brakes.Parking Brake is actually off both on the TCA and in the plane.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, done that. No matter in what order i’ve then tried the toe brakes/advanced throttles - still no movement.

I have the same bug mainly with the fenix, literally why I don’t fly airbuses on msfs

Hello, months later I am stuck with the exact same problem. Is there a solution now?

Which of the various Airbus aircraft available are you using?

Fenix A320 and the FBW32NX, problem for both.

Are the chocks still under the wheels?

No, always been removed.

Are you using the TCA controller?
If not what are you using?
If not, if there is no simple solution like a controller issue or active pause unknowingly on in the sim,
I would suspect there is a good chance you have a mod conflict.

Yes, airbus TCA sidestick and throttle quatrant + T- rudder pedals.

OK, first we need to find out if one of your controllers is sending a command to the sim.

With the sim running, go into Controls Options and select one of your controllers from the top menu.

On the left hand side, click on search by input, see if anything displays in that box.
Repeat for each controller.
That will let you know if your controller is sending a bad signal.

If nothing shows up, what commands are tied to your brake functions in the sim?
You can find that out by pressing your brakes and see what displays in the box.

When i read this first thing i thought was a reversed axis on toe brakes so when you think brakes are off they are on but I’m sure that’s not it

Small update, I got it fixed!

So far I had the rudder connected with a USB to PC directly, but I now have it with a wire to the throttle quadrant. But a small issue. The rudder is off center point and the aircraft veers to the right with no input. how to fix it? (picture of the rudder right now)

Try recalibrating your controller.

Got it better by raising the deadzone. The calibration didn’t do a thing. Now my PC doesn’t even recognize the pedals, but the work tho…
