I use Thrustmaster sidestick and it has a button to brake assigned, I also have the CH pedals.
But the braking from the pedals and the one from the button seems totally different. Any idea on this ? Like the button seems more efficient ( it’s not the parking brake don’t ask )
A button is an on/off function. Each time you press it, full brakes are applied.
Your pedals are surely an analog axis where you can apply the quantity you want (like your yoke/stick), if the settings of this axis are ok, you should have the full brakes only at the complete end of the course. If they are not perhaps even at full deflection you don’t have full brakes. Look at your controls settings.
