Hello all!

Thanks. Purchased my Alpha yoke before the MSFS Alpha last year to use for testing… was watching for the quadrant the whole time and missed it. Got it this time.
Thanks for letting everyone know. I hope the scalpers that bought them with no interest in using them are getting scared that they will soon be stuck with a $300 piece of hardware. Glad to see they are becoming a little bit easier to get.
The Alpha is listed as available as well on their website.
Thank you, order placed. Hope it’s worth it for the smaller GA aircraft. I’m hearing conflicting accounts of the trim wheel not working well for some aircraft, and some missing functionality in the buttons. I’m using this to replace my ancient falling apart CH Yoke. Still need a solution for my ancient stick, but that can hang in there for now.
I really have no wish to place a bolt adjustment tool into the doings, but if you are the proud owner of any Saitek panels you might want to do some research [in these forums] regarding the known and well documented problems that the Honeycomb yoke is causing when used with these panels.
As a Saitek panels [and yoke] user of some 20 or so years I can [despite snobbish remarks to the contrary] confirm that the Saitek yoke works just fine in MSFS 2020 and at a fraction of the cost.
Addendum:
And please, I am entitled to voice my opinion. So be nice!
The Honeycomb IS a nice piece of kit but it does cause problems with other very popular peripherals.
Thanks! Ordered!
Used the Saitek for a long time, it’s a great yoke. Alpha is a step up in my opinion.
Use SPAD with my panels (Multi + Radio) and they work perfectly, no prob with Alpha
Bravo ordered today! Been wanting it since launch
Wow. I was lucky to get my order in before out of stock. Thanks for the heads up.
Yes there are problems with most everything these days. I have the Honeycomb Yoke (early order) and the pitch bungie cord was way too stiff. I took my yoke apart and replaced it with my own. Most people complained about the same thing back then, but I haven’t heard any complaints recently. So they may have fixed it? I love it now.
I will donate my old PFC flight gear to a local air museum (if they want it) post COVID.
I expect the Bravo throttle to have some minor problems as well, but it is already in at least the second revision.
I love that there is competition in the flight simulator peripheral market. I think we can expect a lot of great things because of MSFS. Exciting times for simming!
I did not have early order with the Alpha, but it is VERY stiff. My only complaint.
Already sold out. Too bad I didn’t see this earlier.
What is the specific problem?
I use the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke combined with the Logitech/Saitek Radio Panel, and both work perfectly.
Got my order in! Huge thanks for this thread.
I used the Saitek yoke for ten years and I thought it was wonderful. Until I got the Alpha. The 180* of motion in either direction is a game changer. I ordered the bravo mainly for the trim wheel and the buttons/autopilot/gear/flaps switches.
When did they say they were going to deliver? I’m supposed to be getting mine from Sporty’s in early February.
The only issue I see is that the HDG bug (and some other bugs and knobs like OBS) only work in 10 increments instead of 1 when one of the steady 2 way switches of yoke or throttle quadrant are assigned to a MSFS control. But that is a MSFS code problem, there are no such issues with the other simulators. Hardly Honeycomb’s fault although of course it influences the sim negatively.
I am glad some people were able to get them. I will still keep an eye out and post if I see them on sale again. Happy flying everyone!!
Honeycomb promised shipping on February 6th. Hopefully, it doesn’t take the slow boat from China, since I’ve cancelled my other Bravo pre-orders elsewhere.
