BravoAirspace 787-8 coming soon?

How do you know Tuesday or Thursday? The MP never updates on a Tues, and this Thursday there is not a dev update to list any mp updates.

The update is today, I was told by the marketplace team.

Itā€™s available now.

I can confirm the simbrief import and the EFB performance calculator and sending the calcs to the FMC is functional now the same as the default -10 and the horizon -9 do. Fantastic. Will try a flight tomorrow.

Any chance of a ā€˜doorsā€™ menu in the EFB like the Horizon -9 has?

Still not a huge fan of the (repeated) bright white specs on the PFD/MFDs. They are too white IMO. They look like screen pixel hotspots rather than dust.

Very surprised that you people didnā€™t do the 787-9 first. Would have been a hit.

Nah. Thereā€™s already a 789 and the aim. Albeit not a great one. And then the 78-10.default. It was good idea to have the regular 788. Very popular and stands out being the shorter version

Well there is a Kuro 788 aswell.

** on PC.

Completed a flight from EGKK ā†’ MMUN this morning and have to say it worked out fine. I was a bit low on fuel at destination, only about 4500lbs left, and that was using the Kuro -8 simbrief profile, so maybe Iā€™ll add in some more fuel next time.
All in all though works well and looks great (apart from those bright white dirt specs on the displays which I find a bit irritating rather than realistic. The passenger cabin though is really the USP for this version that and having a centre door to load passengers. Rather than the default -10 + Horizon -9 + Kuro -8 all using the front door.
Could do with a cockpit door that works though. Sadly this version is lacking in any new animations. The cabins do look very nice though and change with airlines.
We could really do with a GSX profile for this aircraft too. No passengers visibly boarding and no baggage trucks come.

Got the update. Thanks. But when will you guys model the passenger cabin in full? It looks weird being half made but empty no seats.

Door controls are coming. Not sure how soon.

Dust on screens, (As seen on many justplanes videos and images weā€™ve collected) weā€™ll be offered to be removed but not sure if in update-2 or 3.

I think you chose the OPTIMIZED version of the aircraft (ā€œno cabin versionā€). You need to not choose that model.

or just toned down intensity from bright white. Maybe itā€™s just me but they do look like hot pixels on the screens rather than dust. Especially the bigger bits.
Very nice looking though comparable to the Kuro now but with a cabin. Looking forward to the door control eventually. Curently no baggage loaders with GSX. Probably just lack of a GSX profile.

ok thanks , I will try that

I would recommend to stick to the default 787-8 Simbrief profile. The other option is unknown to us. We donā€™t operate with their weight and balance.

GSX profile will be accessible next week. And regarding the dust particles, they can be tone done, but we have to find a balance so all of you guys can be satisfied because in real life, you as a pilot, can easily wipe it down.

Most pilots, they just fly dirty. Dirty windshield, dirty screens.

Iā€™ve obtained many images of for example the A320neo cockpit (exclusive images from engineers and real world pilots) and these cockpits are filthy. Hair, dust, crumbs. Thereā€™s no deterioration just ā€œgarbageā€ all over. These cockpits are more dynamic then what we see on the internet.

Thank you for the compliments on our model. Iā€™m glad to use an original model. We just want to keep at it and keep making the plane more realistic. (Which is my personal job as lead artist). I believe the list of elements that can be incorporated and fixed is still long.

Cockpit door can not work because the default cockpit is there which is encrypted and we donā€™t have access to it in order to interact with the the main interior.

I donā€™t wish to promise anything on this post. We just want to keep improving and talking to you all. Every single one of your voices is valuable.

As for the doors, as explained on previous posts, it will be controlled. I canā€™t say how soon but donā€™t expect an internity.

Email us directly or join our forum if you like as well although posting in this forum is great too so everyone can see.

Yeah I can see there must be limitations with the default 787 encryption. It does look nice though and blends together very well. Great to have a 787 with a cabin in the sim. I go wandering back there on a long flight for different view points. I even did an autoland into MMUN whilst looking out as a passenger, which was cool to do as I donā€™t use any replay tools. Looking forward to future updates.

Unfortunately, I still have avionics failure approaching. The screens start to switch off and on again every few seconds in the approach and delete the flight schedule. It is not possible for me to reprogram the machine to land. Very annoying. I only have that with the 787 models. What can that be?

Series X

Black avionics screens happen when the simulator runs out of memory. Unfortunately, when this happens then the avionics also lose every programming so even if the screens come back on the system will be ā€œblankā€. The 787 is the heaviest (read: most memory-hungry) airliner in the sim because it has many digital screens and complex systems, thatā€™s why it occurs more often with this type. The only thing you can do to avoid it is to fly the aircraft to smaller airports, or not third-party add-ons, etc. The more complex scenery you fly into, the higher the chance the simulator will run out of memory.

I recently purchased this a couple of days ago and have completed a few flights. Overall, Iā€™m happy with it, though I understand it isnā€™t as complex as some other options available on Xbox that I really enjoy.

However, Iā€™ve noticed some odd (and perhaps incorrect) VNAV behavior during both climb and descent. During climb, it levels off completely to accelerate to the climb speed after passing FL100. During descent, Iā€™ve experienced instances where it either nose dives to get back on profile or blows past level-off altitudes, requiring a climb back up.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Are there any plans to address this in a future update?

Yesā€¦ Same here.
