Bring the rudder to before Sim Update 2

Not everyone has a pedal, it is extremely difficult to control the plane after updating Sim Update 2, which modified the rudders.

The rudder can not recenter after latest update.
Why did they do such a bad change?

The rudder now behaves like many of us (especially real world pilots and not necessarily video gamers) have wanted from the beginning. It stays where I put it just like having my feed holding the pedals until I change them back. The rudder self centering in both the controller and keyboard was driving me nuts. But I do see the value of having a separate key mapping to center the rudder just like the ailerons center mapping. I never understood why this was not available for the rudder. Unless I’ve overlooked something in the controll settings, let’s put in a Zendesk ticket to have a separate rudder center mapping.

Well, they could at least put a “autocenter” button for rudder. For me, who uses the keyboard for rudder, this update was terrible.

I didn’t realize before the update the the rudders autocentered. Now when I use them, they seem to randomly skew soft or hard (slightly right or left or hard right or left). It leaves me weaving all over the place especially on take off and full throttle. Is that what others are seeing too?
I don’t have petals so use the keyboard.
For example, if from center I hit right rudder once (num-ent), it skews hard and it takes three left rudders (num 0) to center. By then I’m way off center.
Same with going left rudder. It’s very difficult to control then.

Just found that there is a center rudder that is not mapped. I mapped it to the . (num del) and moved my brakes to num-/ and toggle parking brake to ctrl-/. Works much better now. Maybe next big purchase will be pedals. Let me know if anyone else tries it out and what do you think.

I don’t have pedals, but my X56 HOTAS Stick twists and that move the rudders, but it doe have a spring and when released it will go back to center. That is provided that I hadn’t trimmed the rudder.

Prior to the X56 I was using a Logitech Extreme 3D pro, and that too auto centered.

I guess this issue is only affecting people that only use keyboard?
