Bringing High-Quality Gliders to PS5 Marketplace: request for GotFriends AS 33 Me

Hi everyone,

I’ve been diving into MSFS 2024 on the PS5 using the PS VR2, and I have to say, soaring in VR is an incredible experience. The immersion is top-notch in combination with a HOTAS, and it’s the perfect discipline for console VR since gliding seems to be less taxing on the hardware.

With the in-sim marketplace now live for PlayStation 5, I was hoping for the GotFriends AS 33 Me to be available, because to be honest, the default gliders are lacking in various areas. I’d love to urge the Microsoft/Asobo team to prioritize bringing GotFriends AS 33 Me to the PS5 Marketplace.

For anyone into gliding, this add-on is widely considered a gold standard right now. Given how well gliding translates to the PS5/VR2 ecosystem, having a high-fidelity glider like the AS 33 Me available would be a massive win for console users who want to take soaring seriously.

Are there any updates on the curation pipeline for PS5, or plans to bring GotFriends’ fleet over soon?
