British Historical Aircraft

We seem to be overun with Airbus and Boeing aircraft. It would be good if there where more older aircraft like the Handly Page HPR7 or the Vickers Viscount these types of icon aircraft.

The two missing aircraft not produced yet without an add on is the BAE Jetstream 41 (or insert any jetstream number here) and British aerospace ATP (both with fs 2024 career mode support please) because there are a good number of BAE aircraft actually available as payware, Harrier, Vulcan, BAE RJ and BAE 145 available already, not to mention Lancaster and lots of different spitfire models and hurricanes as well

HS-121 Trident. I remember watching them fly over my house a kid. But please not as a LL or FF.

Blackburn Buccaneer would be an obvious choice.

The best PMDG airplane was the jetstream 41

I hope they do give the Jetstream the 737 NG treatment and do multiple variants if they do a Jetstream

Would love a VC10, Trident or BAC One-Eleven!

The VC10 would be excellent.

So too a study level Concorde. (already requested by a lot of folks, and maybe in development already by FSL team).

Prototype Concordes (001/002 or the later G-AXDN) would be nice.

Additionally BAe AST3 would be really interesting as a speculative historical aircraft with the variable cycle engines (SNECMA MCV99??).

I don’t know if it would be possible, but even the BAC MUSTARD (Multi-Unit Space Transport And Recovery Device) would be quite interesting as well - that would entail space flight. That was a very clever system.

Three or more units launched together, they separate at different stages and the final unit makes its way into space to do whatever the mission is. All return to earth, landing space-shuttle style.

Hi,

Would love to see a Viscount, Vanguard and a VC10 in MSFS.

Maybe a HS 121, HS 748 and a Bristol Britannia as well.

A Bristol Britannia, Vickers Viscount, and Vickers Vanguard would be great.

But I would also love to have the following civilian aircraft from a developer like Just Flight:

Hi,

But the sounds would have to be well done.

Still remember the whine of those RR Dart engines of the Viscount and the cool RR Tyne sounds of the Vanguard as well as the incredible loud scream of those RR Spey engines on the BAC 1-11 and the Tridents when I grew up right next to LOWS airport. Our windows actually rattled every time when the latter two flew right by my house on takeoff.

As much as I’d love to see these classics in MSFS2024, they need to sort out the existing stock of aircraft in the sim. It really is not good enough to be 18 months on from release and still have many aircraft that are just unusable!

Agreed, but I would prefer a 3rd party dev for these and not a FF or LL. Asobo never seems to require a plane to be properly functional, so no, not them.
