That was it, thanks Nix!!
I tried disabling the streaming Islander and restarting the simulator, but it didn’t work. I’m still showing the old version. Since I’m running Beta 2, I’m also wondering if the Beta version has something to do with me not getting the update.
Yeah, I’m in the beta, as well.
I removed myself from the Beta, and the Islander automatically updated to 2.2.3. I think a few other add-ons were also updated.
Not running the Beta and it has been updated. Noticed though that when selecting full flap the indicator needle moved back to the UP position even though the flaps are fully down.
Yes we are aware of this minor bug and it will be addressed in a future update
Thanks for updating here, I just bought this in the SU2 beta and the ticking is driving me mad but I will endure. So far it’s a really fun plane to fly – love the swinging mic cord effect, be funny if a bunch of change and papers flew past your face if you go inverted/negative-g. Need more in-cockpit-physics
Also hope that Career mode support can happen soon.
This is a clear sign of the Older (Not updated) package
Yes, sorry if I wasn’t clear but I meant I was glad to read above that it was already fixed and SU2 beta just doesn’t have the update for some reason.
I just did a short inaugural flight from TNCM to TISX in the BN2 and that was a lot of fun.
[NOW RELEASED
And it’s the Same report now for the Birddog, Bulldog, BN2 Piston and Turbine , Trislander and Defender !!
I hope and pray that this is the end of the issues now and our customers can enjoy the products they have paid for, Updated and working in FS2024 !
Do you know if they are going to fix the right engine sound on the Trislander? There is no sound from the right engine in both FS 2024 and 2020. The other 2 engines sound great. I purchased the Trislander about a week ago from 2024 Marketplace.
wasnt actually aware of that .. thanks I will investigate
I’m in the SU2 beta and I can confirm I got an update to v2.2.3 and the ‘ticking’ is gone. Time for some more Island flights
