it is something we have considered but have decided we are not going to be rebuilding the cockpit to accommodate a 3rd party mod when the GTN750 can be run in its own window
As previously mentioned the 530 Mod is quite useable if you require an update from the default GPS and is available for free … here gns530-mod

sorry, eh. i wasn’t implying you retrofit the tri for the 750. it was clear from earlier posts that ship has sailed.
i know making design decisions isn’t easy but if you hear from enough people maybe future creations will accommodate something like the 750. if not, that’s okay too. you’re the developer and i like your planes so i will probably buy them regardless.
and yes, the 530 (even with the mod) is usable although in comparison to other nav units, the adjective “quite” is debatable.

What exactly are you looking for then ?
That for future planes you release you include the 750 as an option in the virtual cockpit. You’ve probably seen those planes where you can use a tablet to dynamically alter the cockpit layout, like the Just Flight Arrow’s. No loading a different plane with a different GPS, the panel layout changes on the fly.

similar to what @hobanagerik said in the post above (he mentioned an ideal solution that i currently enjoy in a number of planes). i just wanted to add a voice to your customer base requesting support in future releases for the 750. i apologize that i wasn’t able to convey that clearly in my earlier posts.
as you and your team sit down to make design decisions on your next plane i’d like for you to know that there are a growing number of folks who own this 3rd party add-on who would like to see vc support in future releases. that’s it - no specific call to action for you.
if it is at all meaningful, i have actually made some recent purchase decisions based around baked-in support of the TDS GTN750 product. it means that much to me personally. again, just a data point for you to consider.

Yes, I think the 310R by Milviz has support for several different GPS options.

I’d jump on the 750 train if Microsobo got their act together and you’d actually be able to use touch controls on docked out windows. On an actual touch screen. Which even works with FSX (and P3D and Xplane of course). All it does here is lock up your controls. And not accept the touch input.
Considering that and me being a pms GTN premium customer I have used it may thrice the last year. Air manager, knobster and the pms 530 are awesome. 
BBX do their thing.
Their copilot is not a pilot and sits in the back and you get a 530.
I tespect that. I joke about it but I respect it.
Get the 530 and the KAP 140 mods…it was alright in the islander, it’ll be alright in the trislander.
Islander family is single pilot. Copilot is your passenger.

Graham, is it possible, in the way things are currently set up, to change the colour of the tail reg? Some liveries have a white reg instead of a black one. I’m wondering if there’s a way to do this without hard paiting the reg onto the livery? Cheers.
Yes indeed … in the last 2 entries of the panel cfg you will find the following
[VPainting01]

texture = $RegistrationNumber
location = exterior
painting00=Registration/Registration.html?font_color=black, 0, 0, 1024, 256
You can change the colour here where it says font_color=WHITE
Noting that the first entry [VPainting01] is for Interior N Number in the VC and the second [VPainting02] being for the N Number on the exterior model ( wherever it is located )
I would HIGHLY Recommend FIRST making a copy of the entire panel.white folder
renaming this to panel.MYCOLOUR (or whatever you wish after the dot)
and then changing the panel=white entry in the aircraft.cfg to match this new panel folder name
DO THIS FOR YOUR NEW AIRCAFT ONLY to prevent killing the others
if your ok with this … then good luck …
If your not… then PLEASE Ask for help or you could damage all your Trislanders

Oo, interesting - does that mean we could use a custom font, somehow? I wouldn’t know how to tell it to find a font in a livery though.
