this kind of thing is exactly what is needed to give each user a vested interest in flight sim.
I had set up an ATC callsign for a while but unfortunately it overwrites ATC for every single flight when it should be specific to certain aircraft.
Also being able to apply your own basic paint schemes and running a small fleet of freight or passenger aircraft would go hand in glove with that and really provide the extra interest for many users (I mean - they got as far as a selectable registration number - but…)

I’ll add that to my list. Thank you for the input and recommendation. For me, it looks fine. Perhaps I am seeing the wrong paint version.
I want the doors to open. I think I will be rebuilding those to open. Perhaps also the little storage nook behind the pilot.

Every time I see you having fun flying some other plane, the grumpy little devil on my left shoulder says “he could be spending this time working on the Piper!“
However, the much-happier angel on my right shoulder just smiles, and is pleased that you are still having so much fun with these sims having been doing it as long as I have, and that it hasn’t just turned into work!

While I was looking for something else, I discovered that the Bu131 is now available on SimMarket (and maybe elsewhere, I don’t know).
So no more Marketplace encrypted files!

As I love this old-school style of aerobatics, all in smoothness and finesse, where you have to manage your energy, I bought it (which I would NEVER have done on the Marketplace).
She’s a wonderful Lady despite her age. A real pleasure to fly.
She just needed one more thing: some smoke to visualize the evolutions even better.
That’s now done, with not just one kind of smoke, but two different ones.
The first “normal” and the second “thicker” and more persistent.
And no need to choose between one or the other, both can be activated with a different binding.
Here’s a short video to give you an idea.

Cant wait! am I right to assume they will be coming to 2024 as well? My Great Grandfather owned a Tri-pacer in Arizona. My father has quite a few stories about his exploits including accidentally flying into a military area and being escorted to an airport by the airforce in Arizona in the early 60’s lol.
If you had time, it would be nice to see that livery, It was White with dark green stripes. Second included pic is not his, but the same paint scheme, minus the wheel pants.
First one is the only photograph we have of him and his plane.
