Upon practicing RNAV approaches I have noticed that when I plan an RNAV approach from the main menu with departure on a custom waypoint (mid-air), there’s no GPS track visible on the map MFD. Redoing the planning in-cockpit doesn’t do anything.
ATC does instruct your correctly according to the RNAV plan, so it’s there, just not visible.
Only tested with the TBM 930 (can’t be bothered with other planes).
Sry,
from your post isn’t clear what really steps you did. To fly every flight with any approach use, you need have as mandatory set departure and arrival airports in FPL. Then also we need understand that there are bugs in some arrival and approach procedures as defined waypoints/fixes or wrong sequence definition. You need try more airports as arrival for approaches test.

- Go to World Map
- Select any airport as ‘Arrival’
- Click to make a custom point as to depart from (a mid-air point)
- Select any RNAV approach
- Launch game
- Notice that there is no GPS track visible in the MFD
As far as I can tell this is valid for any airport.

this is known issue as I said, try do my recommendations and enjoy approaches
why users simply fight again and again and didn’t try recommendations/tests?
I can’t see it in the ‘known issues’ document (?)

hope you now understand why I don’t care now about support this ‘product’?
So have you raised a ticket with Zendesk?
It won’t stand a chance of being fixed if you do not.
This matter has been raised before but every ticket helps.
I will. I first wanted to verify it because I’m just a simmer, not a real life pilot who knows how stuff actually works.
