I am getting the same extreme glare with the Bonanza as well. It makes the aircraft quite unpleasant to use as most of the nice new scenery is degraded badly.

A Cessna 172 is fine. Perhaps it is all the Beechcraft aircraft?

I am having a similar issue with the Asobo Robin DR400 Cadet - a small trainer aircraft. The canopy seems to be colored (not true in RL) and with the sun shining on it this results in a glare all over your view and instruments, washing out the colors and outside view. The same aircraft is fine in MSFS 2020. View is also fine from outside the plane.

Apparently the way the light is entering your cockpit through the glass/windows/canopy is modeled differently. It is not natural and no joy to fly in 2024. It might require updates from the plane creators.

Yea, I just think it’s definately related to how 2024 handles texture maps and their parameters. Maybe these problematic plane’s glass and reflections weren’t verified and checked as well as they should have been and were just compiled and ported into the new version.

I guess we have to wait till someone touches them and corrects the offending parameters. That’s too bad because I spend 90% of my time in the Kingair. I know it well and love to fly it.

I guess I’ll find some new planes to love, and maybe it’s a blessing.

a lot of planes have this, the bonanza i find to be the worst, you can’t see anything

Having this issue too, it would seem nobody thought to check each aircraft works as it did in MSFS 2020 before grabbing our money, and that’s deplorable behaviour. Surely somebody who had access to the “Alpha” build came across this issue? Micro$haft / ■■■■-obo have obviously not heard of “Quality Control”.

aybe its not wide spread? anyone found a fix? its driving me crazy,
when the sun hits… it really quite bad
we need an option to disable all windshield effects

I am experiencing the same glare effect in the SR22.
