[BUG LOGGED] CTD on loading - 100% reproducable - Account Issue

What an utter BS reply from support! I don’t doubt it’s the case that this is what you must do, but the fact it’s the thing you must do to get it working is mindblowing.

I really wish they didn’t do any kind of cloud data saves unless we really wanted to.

How can I apply for a refund even though it’s been a year since I bought it? I really dislike this whole thing now, and that they still haven’t shown any interest from Asobo or Microsoft to acknowledge this specific problem after so many months and reports is questionable.

To put more fuel on the “my cloud data is corrupt, please delete it” fire.
I was informed maybe a month ago to make a second account and add it as a family member to my original account.

Last night I got a reply from support through Zendesk with a checklist of things I’ve done months ago on my old computer, but not on the new. I reluctantly went through each point. Make sure English US language is set there, there, and oh, over here as well. Fine.

Went on with the list still didn’t work, and nearly at the bottom there was something about a Visual C++ redistributable or something.

For the first time since July, I was able to launch the sim and fly. But I can’t access all the planes and airports I’ve purchased and spent way more money on than the sim itself - because this account does not own those, the original account which is causing CTD is the owner.

So basically my conclusion is; something’s up with my original account, and I’d like them to fix it. Or do what they claim is impossible: MERGE it!
