See this (Fast Boot) for a hack that will shave off several seconds from the startup process.
If you sim takes more than 100 seconds to reach the main menu with the workaround above, the fast launch option and an empty community folder, you need to look into your system specs and possibly optimize your windows installation
I voted this topic because all of the above should not be necessary and 100 seconds is still a lot
