I’m happy to report that Gibraltar has been “fixed” to a degree. While up-close the custom 3D rock models are still morphing and shifting horribly, the gnarly shape shift that used to occur just a few miles out is gone and the hilarious floating trees are greatly reduced. Videos taken at LOD 25 and zoom level 60.
At LOD 200 things look more acceptable.
Once again, more proof that new mesh data is not properly processed in one go. Unfortunately, Lord Howe Island is still morphing terribly up-close, and being a much less popular flying area, it is unlikely that it will be fixed any time soon.
