It’s not your hardware fault the problem come from asobo and microsoft i can’t believe after each patch release there is another new bug.
They are lier fo example they said the logbook issue is resolved but 5 min ago i did an ifr flight and nothing recorded in my logbook …
It’s not just ‘Posh’ Components that make the difference. These Guy’s are really clever in the way they Massage and Tweak their Builds to get Optimum Results.
They’re happy to Share this Knowledge so give them a Ring and then you may well listen to your Eyelids Creaking Wide open.
Same for me. I bought a brand new PC a week ago. Bought the game with 1.10.11 update.
Was perfect, graphics & performance.
Update 1.11.24 KILL the performance, the graphics and the default a320.
STUTTERS, BAD CHARGING TEXTURES, GRAINY CLOUDS AND FLICKERING AT FAR OBJECTS .
By the way I did not hear vert good feedback since last update 1.11.24. I’m totally dissapointed.
It is possible to come back to 1.10.11 patch?

Very Sad!! It is no way to perform an airliner flight !!!
OK I finally figured out what my problem was. Just putting it out there just in case anyone else has similar problems.
the EVGA Precision X1 app had a new update, and somehow I might have unchecked the “check for updates on startup” checkbox and so it didn’t inform me of the new update. As a last resort, I went to settings and realized it wasn’t checked. I checked and lo and behold, there was a new update. I didn’t need any other research to know that was the issue. I immediately downloaded and installed the update and stutters have vanished into thin air!
Ultra settings and 4K and I get rock solid 35-45 FPS in the Citation Longitude depending on scenery. GPU utilization is at 98-100% and no dips anymore, so folks if you use the Precision X1, check if you have the latest update. Your mileage may vary.
Well, after doing a complete reinstall, my performance has returned to the pre-patch level. No more stutters or lags. Reinstallation isn’t trivial, but for anyone who has run out of other options, it may be worth trying…
Seems to be the standard thing to do after every update…
Doing full reinstall now…
Lots of animation and audio stutter. The sim was perfect before this USA update in those areas. It’s so bad, that at times it’s unplayable. I’ve tried deleting caches, changing all my settings and I can’ make it go away. I’m pretty sure something has been borked in the update and they will fix it soon.
I hope too seriously it’s a nonsense to reinstall …
Hello in my case I use a 172 classic and NO community addons and I have a really bad perfomances
Perfeet, please inform to us about your performance after reinstall. Stutters, lags, etc…i’m thinking to do the same . Thanks
hope this helps you. I solved the problem of falling fps in glass cockpit with this:

Can you explain me how to do a clean uninstall and reinstall? I purchased the game via Microsoft store (deluxe version)
What about the aditional data and payware scenaries on management content etc…
I don’t want to fly with stutters at all.
I was getting terrible stutter yesterday at Heathrow and Schipol with the premium deluxe version but bizarrely today its run like a dream. Maybe they have pushed through a date update or something but really bad yesterday, perfect today.
Yesterday I even took it from Ultra graphics down to medium with no improvement, today on “High End” it was good. Even the ILS seemed to work well today!!
First, know that clean reinstall is a major undertaking. It takes many hours under the best of circumstances. I also have no idea if it will fix your problem, so consider a fresh install as a last resort. Here is a rough guide.
-
Back up anything in your community folder that you care about because the uninstall seems to delete the community folder. Note that any payware that you purchased outside of the Marketplace will live in the community folder, so be sure to back that up. Alternatively, renaming the community folder should also be sufficient to preserve the contents.
-
Go to add/remove programs and uninstall.
-
Verify that your flight simulator directory was deleted. If there is stuff left over, delete by hand. For a Microsoft Store install, you’ll want to check: \Users<user name>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
-
Go to the Microsoft Store and reinstall.
-
Start Flight Simulator, it will search for updates and start the big download, which will take hours. You might want to let this part run overnight.
-
Go to content manager, select all (selectively delete any duplicate airports as needed) and download all. This will bring down all of your payware as well that you ordered through the marketplace. This will likely take a few more hours.
-
At this point I’d recommend testing your installation. If all is well, you can restore your community folder to its original state.
Thanks a lot. I will wait a bit for next patch.
I have a tenporary solution to fly the a32NX but I have more stutters than before.
I flew from Washington to Baltimore yesterday on an airliner to test autopilot, and
didn’t notice any serious stutters except few ones when there was a traffic jam on approach and taxi. Have the same card as you, 2060S, nvme and 32Gb ram. The game preset is high-end.
I did complete uninstall of MSFS. Full reinstall and unfortunately still same issue with terrible performance, even in cities and planes which previously gave 30-40 FPS.
Did open DCS World, to see if something was wrong with my rigg, but it performs excellent (as usual).
MSFS is so nice visually, but it is crazy to get sub 20 FPS with a decent gaming rig with 2080TI OC.
Not playable and I don’t want to reinstall and troubleshoot all the time to get MSFS to work acceptably.
I am close to uninstalling MSFS for a while…
Systems of Airliners consume a lot of resources from CPU. I bought the game and a new rig to Fly it just one week ago and I still not try airliners in a dense areas like KLGA or KLAX.
What processor tou have in the Rig?
Mine is an i7 10700 ( 8 cores) running with a RTX2060 super 16 GB ram ddr4 and I have around 30 -40 fps with the A32NX (all systems engaged) in areas like Barcelona or Madrid.
Settings set to medium / hight
AI Traffic set at 50%
In past games stutter was often caused by data being accessed, especially from the web or hard drive. The first thing to try is to delete and reinitialize the page file. It should not be on a mechanical drive.
Also do a system cleanup to delete internet and other cache.
If running wireless, consider going wired internet. If you have any streaming on your internet, try turning the items off. This includes internet tv etc.
Last but not least is to consider that much of this game relies on streaming data from various sources. If any get heavy traffic, the data feed can be delayed and cause issues. This can be helped by doing things like turning off real time traffic etc.
Also, if you experience the issue while taxing at airports, try turning down the ground traffic settings.
Good luck
