Here is a list of bugs and notes I have after testing a few aircraft in MSFS 2024

  • The show ATC keymapping should allow toggling the window on and off not just to show it and force us to close it using the mouse.
  • I could not hear the Cessna 152 stall horn at all.
  • I find it difficult to see the Cessna 152 gauges. Too many reflection. Also is the glare shield light working?
  • Cessna 172 steam gauge electrical system not working. Already noted in other posts
  • The plane selection screen needs a lots of love:
    • Remember the plane selection. ie.: Selecting the Cessna 172 float should always pick that version when I select the Cessna 172 from the airplane selection screen
    • The plane icons are too iconsistent
    • The tail number should be saved by aircraft and restored instead of having a random tail number every time. Also, I should be able to set a different tail number for the airplane variants. i.e: All the Cessna 172 variant, the g1000, the analog gauge, the 172 floats, etc.
  • Ability to hide the iPad entirely in the cockpit.

You can file bug reports for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the Bug Reporting Hub, please create a new topic for each individual bug for tracking purposes.

In the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > Wishlist category please only submit one request per topic for voting and tracking purposes, and only create a new topic if one doesn’t already exist.

Thanks, but due to the state of the sim and the amount of bugs and request I find, I unfortunately do not have time to create a ticket for each problem I find.

With respect, a better QA should have been put in place.
