Business Jet for MSFS

So I just recently got MSFS, and I am loving flying the CJ4 with the improvement MOD. Business jets have always been lacking in the sims, and there really hasn’t been a study level one. Now with the new sim I was wondering if there has been talk of someone finally making a study level modern business jet. I know Gulfstream doesn’t like to share their data, so I won’t get my hopes up for something like a G700, but it would be nice to have something that has a good FMC that can do accurate calculations for takeoff or landing performance.

So is there any info about what business jets we might see especially modern ones?

Thanks

The only current projects are VLJs, a HondaJet and a Cirrus SF50. Both have threads here on the board and some Discords.

Thanks. Does the Hondajet FMC have the capability to calculate accurate performance data?

It all depends on the third party designing the aircraft specific XML pages for the System side of the FMC (i.e., electrics, pneumatics, performance takeoff etc).

The choice of both those jets is the current Working Title G3000 which isn’t scheduled for a G1000 NXi class refresh by WT until after NXi leaves Early Access and then it’s the CJ4’s turn. Certainly both teams have declared their intent to get as close to 1:1 realism as possible. What that implies is that as WT cycles the G3000 through the refresh process, those VLJ teams may or may not have a long road to hew when the new avionics framework arrives to keep their pages up to date.

You can see WIP by both teams on their Discords and ask questions there. I don’t know if these Invites will work, but give it a try:

Some months ago I have read somewhere that Learjet does not allow having their planes and their cockpit systems virtualized (for various secrecy and safety reasons) that´s why there will probably never a study-level Learjet in any simulator.

But we could get the HondaJet, the Falcon 50, the Cessna Citation series, the Phenom 300, Cessna Mustang and many more  so not all hope is lost.

I would definitely be happy with any of the planes if they make a study level version, but I’m not sure which one has the most advanced cockpit. I think Gulfstream has the most advanced cockpits, but I’m not sure if there are any jets from other companies that have an equally advanced cockpit.

I Googled some mods and you are able to get some that other people have created. I don’t know how legit they are though. I’m currently downloading the game since I just bought the new turtle beach flight sim controls.

I don’t know much about the G700 yet when it comes to the avionics aspect but I’m sure they have the latest technology. This company I’m in a contract with just bought 30 of them so I will see what they have. I know that the CE-700 Longitude is available for purchase in the game and they have the updated Garmin G5000 PFD’s and MFD as well as the 4 GTC’s.

I’m also hoping they come out with more legit corporate jets because they are very beautiful aircraft.

If you want a study level BJ look up “Hot Start Challenger 650”. It looks to be the most realistic plane for a sim to date, though not for MSFS
