I’ll admit that I don’t have a good grasp on the details yet (MSFS2020 and aviation knowledge), I just jumped in recently and started to tinker.
I’m now starting to understand how VS works and a simple on/off button won’t mimic the actual functionality. At least I’ve now been able to turn VS on with a keybinding for my button to adjust VS -+. The sim will turn VS off as you mentioned.
