You wouldn’t be far wrong there and I’ll leave it at that. My best advice is to find the developers that meet the standards you expect as a paying customer (yours, not what anyone else thinks), weed out the ones that don’t , learn from any mistakes or buying decisions you regret, and go from there. You’ll soon realise that despite what some will tell you, your sim experience will be no less enjoyable for not having lined the pockets of certain developers.
